I Object. Many things have to be rewritten such as shop, etc. It'd bring more problem than benefit.
Make TF cracked again

Vouch, restricting and limiting players based on whether they have a premium Minecraft account goes against the fundamental principles of a "freedom server".
-
as much i could see the potential of going cracked for the playerbase. im still objecting, they'll be a fuck ton more exploiters and exploits. ban evading and the likes and i am not in full confidence we could keep up these days. i think the cost outweighs the gains here s bit

I'll write a proper post later but tf won't be going cracked. The actual benefit is negligible at best and is at this point just going to encourage spam and bot accounts.
-
I'm neutral but interested in how much development effort would be needed. Is it a rewrite of most of TFM? Half of it? A quarter? I can't really provide much insight as I don't know how much effort is needed.
-
@GeekGuy432#9997 Moving back to cracked requires reworking the plot system, the player verification system, the admin verification system, the BungeeCord system, and the coin system, among others.
-
@StevenNL2000#10000 Most of the SMP would need to be reworked too.
-
@redeastwood#10001 The entire network would have to be re-worked from scratch... Would effectively be starting from Day 0 again.

Object.
I think the only argument in favour of this is increasing the playerbase, but many people vouching aren't realising that it's the quality and not quantity of players that needs to be high. Cracked minecraft players are often young, immature and rarely stay in the same place for long, most likely due to being banned for griefing of some sort. For every 50 bad users, there might be 1 or 2 decent ones, but you have to realise that many of the "bad users" will ban evade, grief, troll and be nuisances as much as they can.

vouch, i remember these days and miss them.

@hammelhopfan#10056 Nobody is arguing for that blatant strawman you just put forth.
-
There is no point of voting any more since the suggestion was already denied
-
@Miwojedk#10797 Suggestion was denied after my point lol, cry more.
-
@hammelhopfan#10859
-> Claims I'm crying, yet I'm not the one virtue-signalling and strawmanning others.
Suggestion being denied doesn't mean it can't be discussed. Sorry you couldn't figure that out without resorting to personal attacks.
Greetings from mr frog
-
@hammelhopfan#10859 We intentionally left it open to be discussed.
-
@Miwojedk#10899 My point was perfectly valid? Lol
-
@hammelhopfan#10991 I'm sure you think it was. And I never claimed the opposite. Problem is, is that you strawmanned every other argument in the lmao. Next-to-nobody argued for it merely because it would increase the playerbase.
Also, you didn't give a single reason pertinent to your claim that "for every 50 bad users, there might be 1 or 2 decent ones". And even if I were to grant you that as true (which I don't subscribe to), I would be asking what you think the point is of having moderators on the server? Aren't they there to weed out the "bad users"?
Bottomline: You objected after the thread was already denied ("Suggestion was denied after my point lol, cry more."); you strawmanned the opposing viewpoint and then proceeded to ad homs.
If you can't argue in good faith, then perhaps suggestion threads aren't for you. -
