Please Note: The TotalFreedom Forum has now been put into a read-only mode. Total Freedom has now closed down and will not be returning in any way, shape or form. It has been a pleasure to lead this community and I wish you all the best for your futures.

So just to update folks, we're working with Woltlab on the code blocks in quotes issue (As well as hopefully quotes generally) and are looking to see if they would support migration of our polling add-on which they usually would not (As add-ons aren't part of the core software) but given Flarum is 100% add-ons we're hoping they will make an exception.
I've not yet seen any other issues with migrated content, so am assuming there are no other issues with the importer / migration setup?
-
↩ @'Ryan' Is woltlab getting anything out of this or are they doing it for free? If so that's pretty cool of them.
-
↩ Deauthorized They are doing this in return for my continued business and the fact they can offer this in the future. We're not paying anything for this at the moment. We'd only need to pay if we need enhancements to the importer that they don't see as generic enough to support their wider users.

Freedom Suggestions, Off-Topic, Admin and Senior admin applications have now been setup to give some further content for folks to review and make sure looks sensible.

↩ @'wxtermelon' oh hey thats me

Some new lines / paragraphs aren't recognised correctly. As a result, text is "squashed" together with no spacing.

Another note I almost forgot to make... the graphics look huge on a pc monitor, compared to the text. As if it's optimised for mobile devices only (ugh).

↩ Deauthorized Look closer. No space between paragraphs. The "18 feb 2022" and the last sentence are in the same line as the previous one.
Also compare the 2 pages with Quack's admin application (tI've picked a post with some clear formatting):

wild1145 Will there be a protocol on the new forum server to automatically redirect old forum links to the new one? Like /d/123 > redir > thread/123
-
↩ Deauthorized Possibly... It will depend how I do the move. Given woltlab is a full cms I might move it to be on the main TotalFreedom domain and redirect forum. To woltlab but if we stay on the current domain then I won't be able to make redirects work easily and cleanly unfortunately.
-
So I've pulled the latest copy of this forum database and re-ran the importer with various updates / fixes. They've now added support to migrate polls across as well.
I'm just re-setting everything up so there might be a bit of a lag, but if people could do a final review and make sure there's nothing that should be showing up that is wrong, I'd appreciate it.

I will look into creating a theme that aims to recreate the glorious Night Sky look and feel from the ProBoards forum for WoltLab, but expect this to take some time.
-
↩ videogamesm12 DarkReader works fine for a dark theme on Woltlab at the moment for me, but I don't think it's the same as the Proboard Night Sky theme.
-
A few of Flarum's markdown are missing from wotlab, notably the center and size tags, is this a possible fix? See:
-
↩ Folfy_Blue Good spot, I've raised this with the dev and will see what they say.

Gif's are not working atm
It does say that you can upload gif's but they don't move and webp's don't work altogether
-
↩ MagAgentV3 I'll take a look, probably forum config rather than migration related but I'll see if there's anything obvious mis-configured.
