making this thread since the official one is locked so it doesnt go off topic (fair enough), this is meant for discussion so it can go a bit off topic
if im not mistaken, tf nfts means that i, as a player, will not be able to access the schematics that i made of my own builds that i made on tf, but instead, someone else will be able to use it if they buy it, and i will receive none of the profits. not only is this unethical and i think morally wrong, i believe this violates the eula
actually i just checked and this is what the eula says:
do not distribute anything we've made. This means don't:
- give copies of our games to anyone else;
- make commercial use of anything we've made (including our Names, Brands, and Assets);
- try to make money from anything we've made (including our Names, Brands, and Assets); or
- let other people get access to anything we've made in a way that is unfair or unreasonable;
unless we specifically agree to it or allow it.
since this is making “commercial use” of mojang “assets,” this is illegal. i sure hope you make plenty of money before mojang sues you for all of it.
id like to hear others opinions on this in the replies

how long is the ban for?
right now indefinite but that’s pretty much default for all discord bans, or at least in my view is. discord bans are tricky in that unless we use a bot we can’t always set a time limit, so i prefer to just make the majority indefinite and judge it based on appeal time in contrast to the actions

this is going to sound really bad out of context but if im on a private server with only people i know and no children i should be able to say whatever i want.
if im gonna spam the n word (which i wouldnt do but if i did) and everyone else on the server is fine with it, its dumb for some universal moderator to come in and say “you cant say that,” thats the job of the server mods, not mojang
i didnt pay $30 to have minecraft tell me what i can and cant say on a private server. the language used on a server is specific to the culture behind a server and a mojang moderation team will never understand the context behind a reported message

i really liked flarum
i liked how it looked, it was always very easy for me to use, and imo it looked nicer than woltlab
but apparently it was a clusterfuck for moderation and stuff so whatever
appearance and themes can be changed but how the forum works cant and ig woltlab has better functionality than flarum
