Unfortunately this is something that's kind of hard to decide. Because yes, 0 and 1 second reactions are obviously bots and should be banned. The problem is what if you have your bot consistently beat it in 4 seconds? Most players beat it in 5. So, your bot would still win all the time but in four seconds. You could always beat it in 4 seconds flat and beat all players. Most players will beat it in 4.xx seconds but bots can do that and get away with it. At the same time it's not fair to ban players for doing it in four seconds because it's doable by a human. My two cents (or now three because of inflation) is that we should probably have TFM check if they're consistently solving it at the exact same time (or within a certain range) and after too many tries, prevent them from doing reactions
0-second reactions: what's the best course of action?

I mean, it's very obvious when a bot is used, even with delay (cough cough ginlang, you go afk and magically still do reactions at a human tempo? yeah right)

I honestly think TF funny money should be award based off playtime and not the reaction system, or have it be a mix of both. I never do the reaction games.

↩ Deauthorized Reaction games are the dumbest thing. Make the task of earning currency play-oriented. Build competitions are a great example of this, and I know that the community generally likes contests and competitions a lot.
Idk. if playtime should be awarded directly via currency.

If they get impossible reactions, ban them... I'm pretty sure that's what admins have done anyways when they know someone is cheating reactions

↩ Deauthorized I did consider a monetary prize for mentally unstables but we should have a better state of the economy.

not sure about 0 seconds but a 1 second reaction is absolutely humanly possible. ive seen people get 2 second reactions and 1 second is just a little bit faster with a lucky (easy to type) code
i mean if youre typing like 240 wpm for 1 second (which i have done) and the code is easy then 1 second is possible

Automatically blacklist people from reactions who submit a code 3 or more times within a time range of \~100ms or so, basically impossible for a human to do that by accident
-
-
↩ Telesphoreo probably not but bigboypadilla i believe has gotten 2 seconds a few times, hes only going to get faster so eventually 1 second reactions multiple times may not be so unrealistic

I just take the cheated coins away and warn them. If they continue to cheat the reactions despite several warnings, I will wipe their entire coins if they don't get the message cheating coins isn't tolerated.
↩ enchy bigboypadilla doesn't cheat them. I have gotten 3 or 4 second reaction wins. Its possible if you are quick. Anything like 2 seconds or under is area of concern. I have heard of people using mods or similar to cheat the reactions.

I'd nuke their coins completely. It's harsh, but how should I know which coins are legit and which ones aren't?
-
↩ videogamesm12 can't this only be done by executives?

what if you could gain coins by being near other people or participating in chat? encourages socializing!
