    2. What did they do?

    Players used a fatal flaw in how the /report system interacts with TFM to crash the server with intention. They had filled their inventories and ender chests to amplify the effect.

    3. What indefinitely bannable offense does this fall under according to the guidance for sanctions?

    I confess, I wasn't here to see most of what happened, but I'd logged on at the tail end of Handbooked getting the boot. There's really no innocent explanation for what these three (two (one?) did, and any amount of time beyond a year is acceptable in my eyes.

    A year for server crashing seems excessive. Vouch otherwise but I don't see this as deserving of a year, 6 months seems more appropriate as mentioned above.

    Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter.

    Added. Their bans are 6 months in duration and expire on Sunday, October 08, 2023, at 2 PM, EST.

    I fixed the formatting a bit and added another user who was caught doing the exploit, clinit who is an alt of danimania.
