I’m not sure why it’s disabled, but yeah I would like to use it to make good looking farm builds, it’s kind of weird that it’s disabled
that’s all

Vouch I hope "untraceable grief" isn't used as an excuse to justify the removal of that
Vouch provided they're able to be disabled in certain regions to prevent any griefing.
Quote↩ @'kanst' I hope "untraceable grief" isn't used as an excuse
Probably was the reason, happened the other day to spawn. Should be patchable though without blocking bonemeal.
I'm 99% sure that it was for the reason that people can use it for greifing without it being traced.
I can't see this being able to be logged, and if that is the case then we will look to continue blocking it. If anyone has a smart idea on how to log it I'd be open to it.
↩ @'Ryan' would it be possible to log the use of bonemeal? Nothing that appears in chat or anything but something that can be referred to if a grief is discovered. So instead of trying to shoehorn bonemeal into coreprotect you can just look for the use of bonemeal in the coordinates that someone made a huge mushroom or whatever.
I don't see why it would not be possible to manually log bonemeal use to CoreProtect: both BlockFertilizeEvent and StructureGrowEvent allow you to get the player that caused it and the full list of affected blocks.
I will look into this when I get a chance. It might be possible to work around the issue with other events logged.
I bonemealed a mushroom on TF today and it worked, now that I saw this post im confused as heck.
↩ ThePyroManActualAccount bruh what
↩ ThePyroManActualAccount You can bonemeal sapplings/"mushrooms" and it works, but you cannot bonemeal grass blocks to get grass and flowers
Vouch
↩ Folfy_Blue Makes sense, vouch.
So I've checked, we already have FS-383 which was raised to investigate what CoreProtect does / does not log when it comes to bonemeal and raise appropriate tickets to get it enabled / the work done to enable it.
Closing this as a duplicate of that.
