↩ lyicx The dialog showed you were on the very first build of Enterprise LTSC released back in October of 2018. That's pretty risky since it's still vulnerable to BlueKeep. It also has a bug where it could potentially delete all users file. I'm genuinely impressed you got an ISO on 17763.1. The ISO we use is on the update after which fixed that bug.
↩ Telesphoreo ill be frank, i fuckin forgot where i got this iso from but i had it laying around n shit so
↩ Telesphoreo well i installed it yesterday. i got impatient waiting for 2021 and tried to install pro for workstation but the iso slapped home on it automatically because my hardware got permanent activation for windows 10 home and it skipped that part of the installation where you got to select a version.
was more a fact i wanted to try 10 on my ssd to see if its any better then it was on a hard drive then anything
yeah moved this out of the desktop posting thread. realised we were going offtrack lol
↩ Telesphoreo im sure that'd be smooth enough if i did that instead of a fresh install right?
↩ FromTimeToTime I believe he works with servers and deploys them. Could be 100% wrong
↩ FromTimeToTime Nope we've had it. We're working on modernizing all of our POS systems so it probably came from that project. I'll ask though and I'll try and grab a copy tomorrow
fwiw, i upgraded my PC yesterday to 2021
Doing an in place upgrade from LTSC 2019 to 2021 is possible, no need to wipe
Unfortunately, it appears that AeroGlass (a popular tool that allowed you to get the Aero glass aesthetic from Windows 7) does not work in LTSC 2021. Despite my attempts to get it to work, the Aero effect isn't working.
↩ videogamesm12 given the fact StartIsBack was broken before update. it makes me wonder what its done to the explorer
Quote↩ @'FT ' macrium reflect to mirror installations across computers once you’ve got it set up how you like it!
english pls
Quote!aka what the
FUCK
does any of this mean
↩ videogamesm12 it is a 3 year jump... StartIsBack is pretty good about releasing updates
↩ riawo Macrium Reflect is a utility that allows a user to make an exact copy of your current drive's contents and puts it on another drive. It is incredibly useful for making a backup of your drives since you can simply boot into the "copy" drive and have all your stuff in the exact config at the time you made the copy. I used it to make a copy of my drive before upgrading to LTSC 2021 in case shit broke, I can boot off my copied drive and have all my stuff.
