(This isn't a one time thing, I've seen this happen to every mineshaft I've seen)
Here's the screenshot of the next mineshaft I've found:
-
Can confirm I've seen this happen as well.

Seems like a server-side issue - I don't see why a plugin would impact loot chests. Let me know if you're seeing it again.

@Fleek#18509 I've seen it just yesterday again while flying around the world.

@Fleek#18509 Fresh from today:
-
Bump, @"Folfy_Blue"#356 still seeing it?

If it's interesting enough I have /silentcontainer on and loot chests don't break for me but I can't open them (error says "loot not generated").

↩ Tizz The way loot in minecraft works is the chest has no content/inventory: just two important tags: The chest's main loot table and the seed to pick it from.
When you first open, break, or just interact with the chest, Minecraft reacts by generating an inventory for the chest using the loot table and the loot chest's/map seed.
However, silentcontainer works by reading the raw inventory content of that chest, which is non-existent in the case in which the loot isn't generated.

I've found the issue here. The automatic entity wiper is at fault: minecarts are blacklisted from the wiper, but chest minecarts are not, so the server is destroying all loaded ones every 30 seconds.
