  • so recently i actually had some form of motivation to go out and build something for once, its really rare for me to build anything in this game especially of such caliber. i've been working on this build for the past week and it stems from the intent of making "sorpub" look better then a square box with mossy floors and all that shit but i ended up stripping out all the identity from it and turning it into some form of penthouse. i just want to showcase what i did. i am also dogshit at interior design so im going to critizise myself too.

    The Exterior

This is one of my favourite parts of this build, i've never actually done an exterior of this caliber, yeah sure its mostly a bunch of slabs and stairs giving it depth along with leaves as some sort of hedge or whatever but i feel it works.

The Area where you go in

i really want to call it some form of lobby or hallway i genuinely dont know what to call it. nothing too much to say here though. got cool pillars n shit

    The Pub/Bar

While the actual bar area and the likes are good and feel alright to me im not too happy with the depth and variety of the floor nor the spacing of the tables, i think i need to revisit this at somepoint. the diamond blocks of trim in the middle now that i look back at it. i aint fond and probably going to change it.

    The "Strip Club"

This room also feels off to me, i mean the pole areas are alright but everything else to the seats and some of the flooring and another bar i have in the corner just feels a bit off to me, this oughta be thought out better too, to be honest. also you're going to notice that i have an abundance of poles throughout the house, its nothing i assure you.

I've got some more specific advice to change the flooring and lift the platforms so that would be the first thing i'll do

    The Casino

This is one of my more proud of rooms on the basis that its more functional and looks more decent then the last few rooms. The roulette table is actually working (do not FUCKING ask me how long it took, i did not follow many guides and i aint well versed in redstone) and whilst the blackjack tables are not as advanced as dragons in his plot, their fairly basic in the premise its two people and the one closest to 21 without going bust wins

I also have a gift shop of some of the heads i've made and others i have laying around in my hotbar file. most of them are OS Boxes (Bizzare im aware i could probably put something more exotic in there) but some other niche things too.

THIS AREA ALSO SEEMS TO CRASH LOW END PCS. IF YOU'RE ON A TOASTER, DO BE WEARY OF GOING NEAR MY PLOT! i will likely downscale most of the heads to mitigate this as a result of this in my own time. or if i know alot of people are heading to the plot or someone with a toaster wants to see in general, as a temporary measure ill likely remove them for a bit. fuckin each texture file are like 8192 x 8192 because of the template i fuckin used.

My current issue right now with this room besides the nerd texture shit is im struggling to find a way to fill this area with a different type of game. if you have any suggestions do let me know. ideally something functional but also doesn't look like its come out of a kids redstone testing world

    The Going up...

I have one spiral staircase going to the upper levels found when you go through the "strip club". its really nothing much here apart from this but im considering adding a lower level containing a secret area of good shit like i was kinda thinking of a treasury or something. maybe rethinking this area a bit too would be ideal

    The Lounge

The First area you see going up will be the lounge, for the most part its more of a general living area with a bar, a fountain near the window, a fat fucking TV and of course more stripper poles. this a good room

    The Upper Hallways

Aint got much to say here, this ties the lounge, the office, the balcony and the personal dining/bedroom together. really looks nice though

    The Office

This is my office, looks nice with the shit on the shelves, the throne like shit i got going on and of course stripper poles. could do more with the floor though

    The Balcony

A straight walk from my office leads out here with a podium and two seating areas, this is an area i wish i could add more to but i just dont know how. i might want to revitalize the seating areas or something

    The Uhhh, kitchen??

Another room i cant exactly name, its got a dining like table a snide cooking area, a machine that burns pigstep (because we all know my feelings on that matter... also screw you all for playing it near me, i abhore that song with a fucking passion). its not the best room but its better then this next one...

    The "Badroom"

I'm really not happy with this room, i dont like the bed i dont like the wardrobe i dont like the lightings and i feel its either to do with the "wallpaper" utilizing mushroom blocks or the lack of space i've given myself with this. i dont know i really dont know how to fix this all up without compromising the build. in short my own bedroom sucks huge dick

    The Conclusion

I've probably written more about this build then i will when i eventually start this fucking assignment thats due in less then 5 days. but im sorta looking for critisism on where to go next with this along with showcasing things. i'd appriciate feedback if possible.

  • if i were to change anything i would have ditched the gold and diamond blocks, i think this is just my preference but they never look good in builds. i would have also used a lot of different colours/blocks on the exterior, not just quartz, maybe adding purples etc.
the build is good overall and there is a lot of effort put into it, well done
(i do not approve of the strip poles tho...)

my computer uses an intel pentium and it loaded them in fine (also some didn't load in) (don't mind the fps sometimes it just dips)

also i do like the build, minus the regular quartz because i absolutely hate the borders on them
