I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I also don't know how to fix this.
I'm using the latest version of BukkitTelnet (4.7) and keep coming across this error.
What can I do to fix this?

you appear to be missing your config.yml file, as listed in the error log you posted.
Can you paste your config file? It's not able to load the defaults
↩ Telesphoreo I can't really do that at the moment.
My files are on my PC at home, I can paste it when I get home today.
Looks like your port may not be able to bind either… so that might be another problem
↩ Telesphoreo Sorry this took so long, haven't been home at all. But this is what's in my config.yml
# BukkitTelnet v4.5 Configuration File
# Address to listen on, leave blank for all
address: '[PRIVATE INFORMATION]'
# Port to bind to:
port: 52313
# Main connection password, must be defined
password: '[REDACTED]'
# List of admins / IPs that don't have to use the password

*Reminder that I'm using the latest version of BukkitTelnet*
Delete the BukkitTelnet folder to let the plugin regenerate the config.yml and see if that changes anything. If the error is still persistent, please let me know both the server and Java versions you are running. I'll see if I can replicate the issue - are you using BukkitTelnet provided from our GitHub releases page? (https://github.com/AtlasMediaGrou…leases/tag/v4.7)
I have a feeling this is definitely a file permissions issue. Are you sure the server has read permissions on the configuration file?
↩ Ivan Last time I checked the server has read permissions on basically everything for it.

1.17.1 and Java 17 (I don't if localhost will change anything massive with BukkitTelnet because this is the first time I've used this plugin and don't really know what's right and what's wrong.)

Yes
↩ gamingto12 Did you try deleting the BukkitTelnet folder and let the server regenerate everything?
↩ gamingto12 Same issue? I didn't have any issues with a clean 1.17.1 server running on Java 17. Perhaps create a new server and install a clean copy of BukkitTelnet and see how that goes?
↩ gamingto12 The port cannot be the one that is being used by another application or something. So you would've gotten the cannot bind error whenever you start the start.
However, that would not cause any issue with the configuration file not loading.
↩ gamingto12 Any available port and not being used. For example, if your server is running on port 25565, you cannot use the same port for BukkitTelnet - it runs separately to the server.
