Why are you trying to join the server with TheAltening?

And so the infamous Scalle meets its temporary defeat by the hands of Wild. But most of our fellow Freeyans know that this peace will not last. We predict that within three weeks, the beast will once again be upon us, as vengeful as ever.
We ask that everyone here please try to spend your last days with your loved ones. Tell them that you love them and will always love them to the very end.
For we fear that his return will signal the beginning of the End Times.

I'm going to add that matscalle recently joined the server and spammed "FUCK TOTALFREEDOM" until either he left or another staff member banned him. Which kinda enforces the point being made in this post.

Thanks for your hard work

Vouch because matscalle is a very spicy bean who needs to simmer down

As someone who has dealt with suicidal thoughts and actions in the past, trying to escape reality is like putting a band-aid over a GSW. Please try to seek professional help.

I'm sure the FBI loves having their time wasted due to someone's vendetta
Vouch definitely

The reason why they were made private is because people were insecure about their IP address (because in order to indefinitely ban someone admins have to fill out a form which contains an IP address)
But here's the thing, if you're so concerned with someone having your IP address, either get a VPN or don't be on the internet, not being rude- that's just how the internet works.
Literally every site you visit will collect your IP, this isn't exclusive to TotalFreedom. Google, Twitter, literally any social media platform, Microsoft (and by extension Mojang), literally every single Minecraft sever you join, will log your IP.
Some people were butthurt we were publishing IPs on the indefinite bans and decided to start DDoS'ing the server 'in protest'. The indefinite bans were public for a while prior to that and that's a major reason why they went private - to keep the masses happy because it's not worth getting the network knocked offline because some people decide to be butthurt over the IPs of almost entirely serial rulebreakers/server crashers being published.
TCPShield is a pretty good solution for that

Why does this keep happening? And why is moderation so opaque now? You'd expect for there to be a public explanation for the indeffing / global ban of a staff member.

Constant username changes are pretty disorienting for most people.

Which is exactly what it is intended to do... And why the command exists.
Why, if I may ask?

It's not a matter of efficiency (or wasn't before) the issue was just the volume... I don't know how it'll react now we've moved to SQLite instead of a remote SQL Server, but I don't think this is really that valuable in the grand scheme of things myself.
Idk if you've ever used /ins, but it's incredibly watered down to the point where anything outside of blocks being removed or placed is useless for it, since everything is mushed under a 'interacted with" log. The /co i command is infinitely more useful than /ins.
It might work better with sqlite now, but you most likely won't know for sure unless you try it. If it ends up being an issue, as I said before, you can re-block it.
