    I Object. This is an incredibly common gamemode and is incredibly boring and repetitive. This would get boring really quick and hard to market as there are already thousands of 'prison' servers with sometimes very large communities. I've also noticed a lot of these servers are p2w as in they sell ranks that allow you to level up quicker. Not the type of thing that belongs in TotalFreedom.

    '20% discount code' to replace your drives that they decided they don't want to support. That's absolutely top-tier!
    They really should have given a bigger discount to people with drives that cannot be updated since people with more than one drive will have to shell out still a chunk of money to replace them. A minimum of 50% off new hardware would be fairer IMHO. They decided to stop supporting select drives, so they should do consumers a favour and give a reasonable discount so they can replace their outdated hardware with supported ones.

    Crates/lootboxes are essentially gambling, but for minecraft. Anything that requires players to play "games of chance" for a prize is basically gambling, but in minecraft, with many servers making you buy "keys" for these crates/lootboxes with real currency. Not the best thing to market on a server that minors play on.


    ↩  videogamesm12 Minions plugins as far as I know allow you to "automate" things such as mundane, repetitive tasks in skyblock, etc. As for staff, I think he means like basic moderators.

    This is weird.

    • Describe the bug or exploit: When you run /gtfo -q, it should be expected that the sender of the command be displayed a message that the player was banned successfully. This is not the case. I included a video showing what happened when I banned a griefer with this flag. Unless you verify they're banned via the punishment log, you cannot tell if someone is actually banned if done silently.

    • Expected behaviour (if known): Banning a player silently should inform the sender that they were banned successfully along with displaying the ban reason they set.
    • Step to reproduce: Ban a player using the -q flag, no response will be displayed to the sender (you.) informing that the player has been banned with X reason (if applicable).

    • Can the bug or exploit be reproduced on another server within the network? No, since this is only a TFM problem.

    I'd like to see more examples of your work, and you seem to have a very narrow palette in regards to block choice for the first two images. The first build also is very simple and quite lacking in details. I'd also like to see more of your work and since you stated you have 'interior' building skills, It'd be very appreciated for you to display works of yours highlighting that specific skillset you listed. I'd also appreciate it if you listed what is yours in the 3rd image since it seems to be collaborative work.

  • We lost a LOT of maps

    This is a likely side-effect of the world wipe and not deliberate. Quoting Steven from here, he says that

I suspect that the server realized that we essentially went into the past by a few days by restoring the original world and decided to throw all playerdata out.

    This is most likely an unintentional side-effect of the world clean up so if a backup was made of the entire world folder with not just the region files, it can most likely be restored from the point the backup was made since the maps are also stored in the worlds folder along with playerdata in a different folder there.

    If you're unable to host a server locally, have you explored solutions such as renting a server for a month from a commercial Minecraft server hosting service? There are plenty of providers out there (just google 'Minecraft server hosting') with generally competitive pricing that can fit most budgets. If you cannot afford that, then there's (ugh) server.pro which offers free server hosting with the ability for you to upload your own plugins, but there's a limit of 10 players and about 5 GB of disk space. They also offer paid hosting as little as 5 dollars a month with support for more storage and players as well. Hope this helps you.

  • Let people have an opinion no matter how "stupid" it is

    I agree with this. All of his intentions are good and I get a good impression he wants the server to be better and I have no problems with him in-game conduct-wise. He clearly isn't deliberately breaking rules, but I do feel he should put a little more thought into his posts so they don't appear as 'spammy.' And as others have said, patience is key. Unless he actually breaks a rule, there should be no reason to issue punishments on him because his posts while they are frequent, do not constitute spam or low-effort shitposting.

    You may hate the spawn, but after I set it, Ael told me that he and lyicx wished for theirs to remain for a month, so I let him switch it back. I clearly did not want to cause conflict over something as petty as a spawn. The current spawn is pretty cluttered but it's only 20 days. I sethomed the new spawn and will likely change it once the timeframe is up.

    I Object. I have never seen you online and I think it is kind of concerning that your only post on the forums is this application despite your forums account being 30 days old. I'm also objecting because others have pointed out you have an attitude along with spamming chat.


    Also, I feel it's quite appropriate to point you you griefed a build by putting a number wooden planks inside a structure that isn't yours.
