I learned most of my tricks from Mumbo Jumbo's series on learning redstone. T Flip Flops, RS Nor Latches, Monostable Circuits, etc. Trying to use them in projects really consolidated my knowledge of them.

Whilst not the UK, I've gotten roles in some of Australia's biggest tech companies so I might be of some assistance.
I've found that doing lots of interesting personal projects with up to date technologies looks really good on a portfolio for potential employers. If you don't have one already, I think Github > LinkedIn simply because by putting your projects there you are showing a few things. One of which is that you can use version control and git related technologies.

Short term disposable worlds might be more accessible for new players to get started in. I'm aware that having long-term worlds would be good - especially for our long-term members here who stay for a while - but I can imagine it would be fairly daunting if you join the server for the first time.

the issue here really isn't the temporary loss of admin world, it's more the fact that issues like this repeatedly take place and we suffer for some time each time. granted, this time we're gonna be okay but what about next time?
bruh I put dozens of hours into my redstone shit into the adminworld and the number of times it's gotten griefed and rolled back is quite large. There has always been backups. There will always / sometimes be rogue admins. If you want a sure fire solution just stop anyone from modifying the adminworld...

Making a once-in-a-while forum come back just to put my two cents in.
Whilst a lot of the points might have valid reasons (I can't say I'm up to date with TF things now-a-days though), replacing the owner again is going to be a mammoth task in itself. Two of our three past owners have not left on great terms, whereas the server has been stable under Wild. Personally, I wouldn't want to risk that stability unless Wild truly was some tyrannical dictator.
