I think having an actual election would be more fitting rather than allowing them to keep their position. It gives others the opportunity to also get voted in, and gives the community overall a chance to kick somebody, whom they believe is not ding their job.
Wasn't the exec position supposed to be up for election, regardless of how the executive has performed every few months, thus giving ample opportunity for others to try as well?

transparency is always appreciated. I think this might've been a major issue with Seth's tenure, because he didn't have a clear vision / "ownership", as in: he kept flip-flopping every two seconds. One moment he went against community-opinion (while declaring that he was not going to change his mind), and then the next he caved in to the pressure and undid his actions. This is not to say that this is/was always a negative, because it wasn't, but the the fact still remains that his leadership was utter pandemonium. In the way he displayed himself he went from one extreme of wanting the server to be purely community-driven to ruling with an iron fist. A perfect example of this are the countless times Wilee was banned.
When you give off the impression of wanting to steer the server in a certain direction, and then ultimately going the other at some points, you put the community in an awkward position. But now you have given us a clear outline of how you envision yourself as TF owner, thus we now have realistic expectations of what's the come.

The switch should've never happened if it was per the community's approval.
I have no idea why you would convolute the poll with multiple forum choices vs keeping the forum as is.
What are you going to do if the majority of people vote for moving to another forum, but there is no majority for a particular forum vs. flarum? Are you just going to go with the most popular alternative? RCV matters.
Would've been wiser to start with the simple question: ""Do you want to move forums or not". and then procede to forum alternatives, if the majority voted for moving forums.

I still think it's sad that the vast majority of the community wanted to stay on ProBoards, but mighty Seth wanted to transition to MyBB, and thus got his way.
I'm indifferent to the actual question of whether or not to stay on Flarum or move to Proboards, but the fact still remains that the only reason the switch happened was because we had an owner who disagreed with the majority consensus. A consensus which has/had been held in every-single-poll on the matter.

Im pretty sure my last thread about this topic either got approved or the vast majority (if not all) were for the suggestion - of course this is before Seth had a fit and deleted the forums.
