@elmon#19767 Why don't recommendations count if the Admin is removed for inactivity? The recommendation was made when the Admin in question was active, so surely that should be enough, unless they were removed for malbehaviour?

RedEastWood Why is not acceptable that "inactive" players vouch? There is no criteria that requires a voter to be "active", and would be silly to add this. A public application is just that - a discussion forum wherein arguments are put forth as to why / why not the applicant should(n't) be accepted.
If people are coming back to vouch for the applicant because they believe that the applicant fits the criteria for Admin, then I don't see why they should be barred from voting: even if the applicant asked them to vote on the application. Only thing to prevent this would be to requrie a minimum of recent activity on the forum / server in order to vote, but I would personally think that this would end up being convoluted / bureaucratic. Making a mountain of a mole hill.
Their sheer dedication towards TF's playerbase coupled along with the change in attitude from last time has made me reconsider my last objection for their inappropriate behaviour. Red has certainly made amends, and for that reason I will

I never said it was easy to remember an assortment of letters. I said that it was silly to somehow distinguish that from a trivia question that may be asked x amount of times. Regardless, I don't think you knowing the answer from the same question being asked before should be that big of a concern. You either know the answer to the question, or you don't.
But yeah. I'd much rather have some sort of quiz-action going than a meaningless task of writting a jumble of random letters.

I also find this critique fairly odd, in that you fail to mention that "write apsidh129373t8udhisajkd within 10 seconds" is somehow different and so unique that we can have them pop up every 5 min.
