I understand that this may be tampering with the archives a bit, but I feel it's necessary in order to restore a theme to its former glory. On the ProBoards forum, we had a Christmas theme that was available for the public to use. It used a Christmas-themed image for the background and it was like this for years, as shown here:

However, sometime in 2019/2020, the original link to the image the theme used stopped working, causing the theme to no longer have a background. I initially made a suggestion to replace the image sometime after I found it, but unfortunately as I didn't have the original image saved and there wasn't a copy of the image I could find, that suggestion didn't go through.

However, today I went looking for the original image and managed to find it by using Google's "reverse image search" tool on a cropped portion of the screenshot I posted above, and then used the tool again on one of the results.

    Here's the image:

This suggestion calls for the theme's background on the ProBoards forum to be replaced with the one I've posted here.

In late July 2019, I was given access to the Recycle Bin, a board where moderated posts were frequently sent to hide them from the public view. Within this board is every application for the Telnet Clan rank, which were moved there after the rank was shitcanned in February 2019. Soon after I was given access to this board, I started archiving every Telnet Clan application that I could find.

Since I don't think these threads would see the light of day otherwise, I've decided to release these applications to the public myself in the name of preserving history. Due to the large amount of threads in the board, I'll be releasing them in volumes (15 applications per thread). Applications that were approved were marked as such.

    Here you go:

I have a morning ritual that I need to share. I call it "the terminator". First I crouch down in the shower in the classic "naked terminator traveling through time" pose. With my eyes closed I crouch there for a minute, visualizing either A...rnold or the guy from the second movie (not the chick in the third one because that one sucked) and I start to hum the terminator theme. Then I slowly rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me to proceed through my day as an emotionless, cyborg badass. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It ruins the fantasy.

Essentials' economy is basically useless as we use our own economy system (TotalFreedomMod's coins system). I don't see the point in blocking it since nothing on the server actually relies on it.

This was a collection of harsh and insulting replies to a resignation LightUk created in November 2018 after he realized his removal from status was imminent. All of which were moved to a thread in the Recycle Bin.

For historical context, LightUk was pretty pissed off about an incident where a bunch of administrators abused their administrative commands (which lagged, spammed, and crashed the server) and how nothing was being done about it. As he kept trying to push for these administrators to be sanctioned, he too started to fall out of line.

Many of the people who made these replies wouldn't realize until many months later that their messages might have helped kickstart LightUk and Marco's pursuit to have what they felt to be justice served.

I've reposted it here for two reasons:

    1. Historical reasons - I believe information like this in the context of history (one as significant as a planned coup) should be documented for historical reasons.
    2. To prevent a situation like this from happening again - It's clear that responses like these can take their toll on someone, and lead them to do the unthinkable. This has been proven time and time again, and it cannot continue.

    Here's the entire thread:

In the past, I've been repeatedly asked if the backup of the adminworld from July 2017 is the latest revision I've got. The answer is no. After Seth wiped the world in April 2020, he publicly released a download link for it onto the forums. Due to an unfortunate series of events, that download link no longer works.

I have more backups of the adminworld (ones I snagged while I had FTP access from February 2019 to March/April 2020), but I have yet to release them.

@lyicx#6368 Thankfully (at least from experience with LTSB -> LTSC) you can upgrade to LTSC 2021 once it comes out by picking "upgrade" when installing it from the LTSC 2021 ISO.
