@Miwojedk#7772 If Prozza's love endures forever, then how come we haven't seen him as often as our lord and savior Steven over the course of a few years?

@StevenNL2000#7747 You would be correct.
-
@wild1145#7744 This would apply to all users, not just the higher-ups or executives. What if the executives themselves are the corrupt ones?

This suggestion calls for the implementation of a policy or the amendment to an existing policy (such as the Conduct Policy) that forbids the obstruction of justice.
Here are some examples of violations of this theoretical policy:
- A forum administrator deliberately deletes or hides a thread containing crucial evidence against them or a friend of theirs.
- An administrator illegitimately closes a case for "lack of evidence" when in reality there is plenty of evidence provided.
- A user threatens another user to keep quiet about their offense of the Conduct Policy.
- A user attempts to use deception in order to invalidate their punishment or to cover up their violations of existing policies.
-
@Miwojedk#7732 Actually, there is - see Regarding (people on) esoTalk, which was created announcing the banning of any advertising of the platform in question.
To quote the thread,
QuoteDarth Like Wild said (please refer to https://forum.totalfreedom.me/…t-outside-of-totalfreedom), you are on the hook if your actions outside of TF reflect badly on us or cause damage to our reputation. You are free to do what you want outside of TF, but if those actions spill over, or if someone traces it back to you, it becomes our problem.
Because this was posted in public channels and was aimed at the general audience instead of mainly just admins, I believe that this applies to more than just admins.
Quote@Miwojedk#7732 I think it's fine for you to link to these cases as further corroborative evidence and context against Irix, however you didn't link to a single quote from Irix that displayed any foul behaviour, other than him simply being a moderator on the forum.
Foul behavior? You got it. This is at the footer of his forum.

Regarding Mosley on another forum
Mosley owns an public forum (which I will not name to avoid violating a certain policy) where a bunch of users have publicly encouraged and condoned racism, violence against the United States capitol, violence against those who are LGBTQ+, and antisemitism. Most of these users have not been sanctioned on said forum despite this and continue to use that forum to this very day. Mosley (under the user admin) maintains this forum knowing that its users are making such remarks on his platform and has not moderated or sanctioned these users. This inaction is grossly negligent at best and potentially complicit at worst.
Evidence (edited in some cases to abide by this server's policies, however some may still find the posts to be offensive):
QuoteDisplay More!Owning the forum:
Examples of unmoderated antisemitism:
Examples of unmoderated racism:
^ - While the post itself was edited by Mosley himself, the post itself still contains racist language and a racist username.Examples of condoned violence against the United States capitol:
Conclusion
Allowing Mosley to engage with the community on Discord (despite the actions I've noted earlier) would be detrimental to ATLAS Media Group Ltd's and TotalFreedom's image as a whole. This as a result qualifies as a violation of 1b of the Discord server rules, which states the following:
Quote1b: Any content (of any sort) which brings the reputation of ATLAS Media Group Ltd or its projects (Which include TotalFreedom) into disrepute.
Regardless of how sound the original reasoning behind the ban is, I believe Mosley should remain banned for violating 1b of the Discord rules due to his behavior on other non-TotalFreedom platforms. Even if he didn't know of the rule above from the Discord rules, he still would have known from the official policy of admin conduct outside the server that he would be sanctioned for things he has done on other platforms.

Today is a federal holiday, in which we celebrate StevenNL2000 for all of his achievements and for everything he has done.
For more information about this wonderful holiday (which I'd argue is even greater than Christmas itself) and the firm historical evidence backing everything, here's the original thread Polaris Seltzeris made:
Please reply by celebrating and thanking him for all of the work he has done.
-
Why not just fix the problem that's causing these NBT-related bans in the first place, which is packet size restrictions?
-
This better not be another fucking cipher.

CoreProtect has a feature where it allows you to purge data older than a certain amount of days. While I'm not sure if it lets you choose to only wipe data for a specific world (someone will have to fill me in on this), it might help in wiping the data for worlds other than the flatlands.
Vouch, but the old data definitely should be made available for download if this goes through.

A few months ago a friend of mine managed to get FTP access to the server and proceeded to give me these guys' Discord bot's token. The exported channels from their Discord have been sitting unreleased on my laptop in my documents folder for months.
-
Only the username ban is preventing you from joining the server. Your IP address and UUID are not on the indefinite ban list.
If you have another account, you can use that to join the server in the meantime and then revert your main account's username change in about a month.

Someone handled this earlier today according to the original poster.
This thread can be locked.

So, I'm going to admit I was irresponsible in the organization of the original post when I was writing it and failed to distinguish a few things which made it confusing at best and misleading at worst. I've made an attempt to rewrite the original post and clarify it better but I'm unsure of whether or not it actually made a difference.
To ensure that any replies made before I rewrote the original post still make sense, I've included a screenshot of the original post for reference.

I found this on an old laptop that I used from early 2013 to mid-July 2014.
The icon is a screenshot of a build from what looks like the official TotalFreedom server.
I'm not entirely sure what it was supposed to be, but it doesn't work anymore for some reason (or at least it didn't when I tried to run it in BlueStacks). All it does for me is hang on this screen after giving a blank alert message.
Any idea of who could have made it?

@StevenNL2000#7242 What the fuck

Time for another one of these threads. I've felt the need recently to complain about the many, many, many issues this forum has. I've rewritten this post to better explain my issues better and actually attempt to organize them better (although I'm sure they could be improved even further than before but whatever). Enjoy the nitpicking.

Flarum is currently marked as "beta software". We should not be using beta software for our forum as beta software tends to have a larger number of bugs and issues with stability that will likely not be present when the product is actually final. We have a couple alternatives for forum software that aren't in the "Beta" stages and are usually more stable like Discourse at our disposal, which in my opinion would be better suited towards this server.
-
Many features present in other pieces of forum software which are not present in Flarum require the use of third party extensions. One of my big concerns is about having to rely on these third party extensions. As every extension (regardless of the party they are from) is required to be up to date for the upgrade to go well, what if one of these third party extensions aren't updated?
-
I do not believe that the modular and barebones nature of Flarum is compatible with TotalFreedom. To many people here, the idea of having to track down and install extensions in order to implement features already present in other forum software simply isn't worth it. It would be more convenient to just say "fuck it" and use a different piece of forum software which isn't quite as modular and barebones as Flarum is, but still has many features Flarum on its own just doesn't have.
Missing Features:
- You can't follow or message people over the forum.
- Signatures don't exist.
- You can't rename your own threads.
- You can't mark threads as "falling", meaning replies to threads in sections like Spam and Drama will show up at the home page like every other thread on the forum.
- When creating a thread, you can't preview what your thread will look like as a post. This used to be a feature in Flarum, but this is no longer the case for some reason.
- You can't embed videos or Tweets into your posts properly. You could do it on the original Flarum forum.
Visual Issues:
-
The Error 404 page always displays as light-themed regardless of the user's preferences.
-
Flarum's method of handling whitespace in resolutions wider than 1100 pixels causes the page to look a bit "squished in". ProBoards scales the width of the content in their web pages by using a percentage (usually 85%) in a way where the ratio of whitespace to content isn't too far unbalanced. However, Flarum sets the width of the content itself to be 1100 pixels wide no matter what, and doesn't account for this ratio.
Implementation-related:
- Loading the forum takes way longer than it did on ProBoards.
- Email notifications incorrectly mark who replied to your post in both the email title and the message itself.

Flarum-related:

Not necessarily an end-user issue, but definitely an issue for the poor souls who have to do forum administrative work: the permissions in Flarum are by many accounts a living nightmare to work with. Each group apparently had to be added to each permission node individually. When you're working on a shitton of categories with a shitton of ranks, ouch.
-
Notifications don't go away when you open the notifications menu. They also don't go away when viewing any threads that caused the notification in the first place. You have to manually mark them as read or click on them to get them to go away.
I'll probably add more to this list as I continue to find things to complain about.

You guys just don't understand the pure genius this guy has. I say he should be the server's co-owner. SPAS'd.

I was going to say that this didn't happen on ProBoards but then I realized the exact same thing happened on there a few years back.
