Because suppressing people (regardless of the method) because of who they are attracted to or who they identify as is immoral. Most of these countries are usually worse-off than the countries that are accepting of it. You have not factored in the possibility of these people being found out and killed for it.

This would make it easy for people to bypass /tptoggle. I've smitten people for teleporting to someone, leaving a home there, and then after the person has their teleportation disabled use the warp to teleport to them.

Vouch. In the past I voted neutral because I only thought its problems were annoying. However, I realize now that this has to go.

On a side note, the defense that the server "needs more features" is true, however we have a backlog of blocked commands and features we could enable that are blocked because of problems that can be easily fixed (disabling gravity for sand) or mitigated (adding additional checks to teleportation events for when one tries to teleport to another player in Spectator Mode).

This is the most British thread I have seen in a while.

For me, it has to be the Wii, and it's for many reasons.

When the system first came out, its introduction of motion controls in video game consoles was HUGE. The concept of being able to interact with the game by literally moving your controller really helped drive the immersion you got when playing certain games. Sony and Microsoft didn't really have that, but boy did they try with the PlayStation Move and the Kinect. Neither of them really caught on like how the Wii did.

It's also a fantastic system to kill time with when you're on the go. The Wii is a surprisingly small system compared to its competitors, and that means you can put it in a backpack along with whatever crap you're taking with you and not have to worry all that much about needing more space. Hell, I actually did that on multiple occasions and it worked flawlessly. The backwards compatibility with the GameCube meant that many great games on there carry over to the Wii too.

The Wii really did have this sweet spot of official backwards compatibility. When the Wii Shop Channel was still up, you could purchase and download various games for the NES, SNES, and even the N64. Since most models of the Wii have backwards compatibility with the GameCube out of the box, that makes the system a very attractive way to play some old classics all in one box. This is something that the Nintendo Switch still struggles with to this day.

It had a lot of awesome games too. Super Mario Galaxy has to be one of my top 10 favorite video games of all time, and is in my opinion one of Nintendo's best. The soundtrack in that game is absolutely fantastic, and the game still looks fantastic to this day (almost 14 years later). New Super Mario Bros. Wii was like a "return to roots" kind of game for the Mario series, and god damn was it fun. For the first time, you could play Super Mario Bros. with more than one person at a time. Mario Kart Wii was an absolute blast to play with my dad, and the game still lives on thanks to its modding community.

Finally, we have the homebrew. The Wii has a massive library of homebrew available for it. There are a bunch of useful tools available that range from booting games from a USB hard drive to customizing the hell out of your home menu with themes and custom channels. The main advantage the Wii has is how easy it is to hack. With the PlayStation 3 you have to jump through some additional hoops to allow homebrew to install, and with the Xbox 360 you have to jump through a ridiculous amount of hoops. With the Wii, all you have to do is stick some numbers into a website, download some files to an SD card, and click an explosive letter.

The Wii may not have been the most powerful when compared to its competitors, but it was (and still is) one hell of a console.

Range bans have a use. You can easily wipe out entire groups of VPN IPs just by banning one range. This is an incredibly helpful feature when you're dealing with bypassing dickheads.

With that being said, I believe range bans should not be automatically issued in temporary bans and should ban strictly their IP.

When it was first found, it was assumed that all you could do with it is see players from other worlds, as shown here:

Then, it was found that you could enter some kind of void by trying to go to another world while riding somebody. In this void, you almost completely vanish from the server's radar (/list doesn't show you at all, you don't even appear in the tab list either, and some commands simply can't find you), many commands simply don't work half the time,

Finally, as if it couldn't get any weirder, it was then discovered that you could also load in chunks from completely different worlds, causing some absolutely wacky visual glitches as sometimes the two worlds would merge:

Unfortunately, it was patched in late 2019 because it can crash the server very easily but it was fun while it lasted. Nothing has managed to top that.

As of today, March 24, 2021, I have been an administrator on this server for exactly 7 years. On this date in 2014, I applied for Super Admin status and was approved within the same day under the Telnet Picks a Super program. At the time, I was only 10 years old, and hardly knew anything about programming, exploits, or investigative work. I am now 17 years old, and will be turning 18 in July. Over the years, I watched many players come and go, with only the most dedicated remaining. I have watched serial rule-breakers become great admins, and vise versa.

Good or bad, there's no denying this server has been a major part of my life for years, and I'm grateful that I have been able to be part of a community like this. I've made a lot of friends on this server over the years, and I don't think I would have ever been able to meet them otherwise. While I've definitely toyed around with the idea of retiring again, there is still a lot of work that has to be done before I can comfortably do that.
