The latest.log file from the October 24 server dump provides an eerie look on the events that occurred on that day. It also gives a timeline of what got deleted first.

The realization of what's happening and subsequent panic is eerie, to say the least.

Microsoft released a new build of Windows 11 to Insiders on the Dev channel today.

This build features many changes, most notably to the Windows Explorer and the Settings app but also in some other places as well.

With that being said, unsurprisingly they still haven't fixed the dark theme in many places.

Things look pretty nice so far. I appreciate the return of transparency in some of the apps especially. I hope they fix the dark theme consistency issues, but I doubt they will.

If you want you can view a massive amount of threads through the Wayback Machine, which were archived en-mass in September 2019.

However, this is still a very big issue as 2019 is like 2 years ago.

Tizz I think a better solution would be a proper 2-factor authentication system instead. Said system would be required for all admins to have in order to be able to use administrative tools. In addition, things like Telnet and the HTTPD server would enforce this as well for uploading and downloading things.

I've decided to show off something I'm working on in a fork of the TotalFreedomMod. Probably not the best implementation but certainly functional. With this, gone are the days of everything fucking up when two accounts are online under the same IP. Gone are the days of getting the same tag as another person on the same IP. Gone are the days of name changes and IP changes completely fucking everything up.

To ensure that an incident like what happened on October 24 with the original forum doesn't happen again, I decided to write something in Python that scrapes the forums as a proof of concept.

Here's what an archived thread's posts file usually look like. Fun fact, this particular thread's posts file is about 1 MB in total size. No other thread has managed to reach this size yet.

What worried me at first was the endless scrolling system, which would make archiving threads slightly more difficult. However, it turns out that Flarum's API is an archivist's wet dream and could be used to save threads in a much smaller and faster way than the traditional method of saving HTML files, completely bypassing the endless scrolling system in the process. Nice one, Flarum!

If we can't move the database from Flarum to WoltLab very cleanly, I think this could come in handy for a public "archive" of some sort. However, this apparently requires the permission of every single person so I'm not sure it would be practical.

    Sleep-deprived Video here.

    • There is nothing in this document that counters vote rigging or disallows me from voting multiple times.
    • If I have multiple Minecraft accounts supered under different IP addresses, can each account give out individual recommendations?
    • If I get banned only from the forum, can I still vote by bypassing my ban?
    • What are the active participation requirements for people with recommendations from Executives or the Owner?
    • What do I do if someone asks me for my opinion on something through a direct question?
    • What if nobody votes on a standard admin application?
    • What if something comes up that requires the voting process to be delayed (forum gets DDOSed, breached, or deleted)?
    • What if only one person votes and said vote is a vouch? Does the application get automatically approved through the ratio you provided because it counts as an "overwhelming approval"?
    • What if I am unable to use Discord (e.g. blocked in the country I live in or I am under the minimum age requirement)?
    • Can an operator become the Executive Admin Officer and then use this position to promote themselves?
    • Is bribery in exchange for a certain vote allowed?
    • If I spam the Spam and Drama board with at least 15 threads, am I then allowed to vote on applications?
    • Can I create a Senior Admin application in boards like General Discussion or Spam and Drama?

Fleek He likely had a name and IP address change, which would have constituted as a new player. Similar situations can be avoided by using UUIDs as the main way to get player data instead of usernames and IP addresses.

You were being incredibly obnoxious and despite me asking you multiple times previously to stop acting toxic towards people and to stop abusing the bot, you continued. Originally, I was going to just mute you or deafen you so that you would stop using the music bot, but I wasn't in a good mood at the time so that made matters worse. Even then, I do not believe you have changed since I banned you on June 14, 2021, which was 10 days ago.

    Toxicity

I'm going to say this one more time. If you have a problem with taking things people say too personally or harshly, that's your affair. But for the love of god, please do not make it ours as well. Your method of handling minor comments by being toxic is terrible, and does nothing but annoy people. Here's some examples of evidence of your behavior.

    From a few days later:

There were also messages where you allegedly posted the face of an operator here. To protect the privacy of the individual (as it is unconfirmed at this moment in time if the picture is of the individual), I've censored the image here. You posted this pictures on at least 2 other occasions. Turns out the image wasn't of the operator. However, you were still pretty annoying with it.
