uvb sir its been 2 days.

My bad; I had inquired with Red about whether or not his objection still stands given there were remarks in this thread that said the feud between him and Packs is over. I haven't gotten a response so in the interest of getting this over with I'm going to assume it still does, as Red hasn't confirmed it to be the case even after the remarks were made.

Since (unless I fucked up the math) this application didn't meet the required number of votes necessary to move this forward (the minimum amount of vouches has to be around 90%), this application is denied for not having enough vouches to meet the requirement. You may reapply next round.

Apologies for the delay. This application has met the 90% voting ratio and will move onto the final stage of the Senior Admin application process: the Senior Admin vote. It will conclude a week from now.

    Good luck to the applicants.

1.12.2 was the last version of Minecraft that wasn't bloated to death with shitcode. The whole reason some servers like 2b2t haven't updated in years is because the newer versions lag too hard to be able to run with playable performance, but ironically the side-effect of not updating is that the years of exploit discoveries and patches have actually hardened and stabilized this particular version of Minecraft against lag and crash exploits significantly, as many forks of Spigot/Paper have risen to the occasion to patch any that pop up in it specifically for anarchy servers.

ThePyroManActualAccount 1.4 to 1.7 were honestly the golden age of Minecraft modding. There were so many mods out there you could get to change your experience it was crazy. There's basically nothing nowadays compared to back then unfortunately.

Do you absolutely hate yourself? Do you absolutely despise the look and feel of Flarum so much that even just catching a glimpse of it makes you irrationally angry and need a way to cool down? Do you love to efficiently break web pages to see things that are normally hidden like raw JavaScript? Do you have literally nothing to do right now?

If you fit into any of these categories, then this is the custom CSS for you! I call it The Flarum Fucker. Here are some of the awesome things it does:

    • Absolutely destroys the web page beyond recognition
    • Makes the forum impossible to use or even navigate
    • Somehow manages to render ITSELF onto it from time to time
    • Violates nearly every guideline on how to make a good web page
    • Turns the entire forum into a work of art that rivals the Mona Lisa every time you load it

Don't believe me? Here's a screenshot of the forum with the theme active!

If you have a custom CSS extension installed, all you need to do is create a new theme, have it apply only to forum.totalfreedom.me, and then copy the CSS from below:

    Enjoy!

The number of objections outweigh the number of vouches. Many have cited a low amount of activity as the reason for their objections, so I suggest engaging with the community more and making yourself more well-known.

Denied. You may apply again in 30 days.

    > Is literally in the group chat where most of the raids were coordinated
    > A Minecraft account he has access to (originally intended as a gift for Yurni) was literally used by the raiders one evening
    > Literally said shit like "OHHHH I FEEL IT COMING" right before the raider showed up on multiple occasions
    > "I didn't participate in the raids at all"

I'm going to lock this, but here's a TL;DR of the thing matscalle is super worried about.

Shadow Client apparently uses DiscordIPC (a library created by the beautiful people behind the popular Meteor client) for its Discord Rich Presence integration. The source code for this library can be accessed here, and it seems to be harmless. Whoever decided to crack open the Shadow Client jar and sent these screenshots to matscalle clearly did not know this and just assumed from the mention of scary words like packets and Discord that it was a backdoor of some sorts.

With that being said, I don't recommend using Shadow Client, because:

    1. Even with this library being innocent, its shady background ||(HAHAHAHAHAHAHA)|| makes it extremely difficult to trust.

    2. Its authors are part of a retarded griefing group called the Moles. These guys spend their time socially engineering kids into running backdoored plugins on their Minehut server so that they can publicize themselves griefing the shit out of it.

    3. These people have targeted this server before, but eventually gave up after we patched their crackhead exploits.

You can, however, view the source code for their client in two unique variants:

    • A copy of the official public source code release, pulled by yours truly right before they made it private: https://github.com/VideoGameSmash12/Shadow

    • A copy of the source code with the original commit history and also including some features they tried to hide from the public release, pulled by @"Luna__"#2532 using some wizardry (which led to some spicy internal conflict in the Moles): https://github.com/LunaWasFlaggedAgain/Shadow

For transparency, I've decided to disclose the exact reason these admins have all been removed, now that I'm confident that I can safely do so without compromising the investigation. All four were involved in a corruption ring with Mosley, Sperience, and Flobbier at the center with the goal of disrupting the community/server through various ways. The thread that is currently in the works will explain more and even provide evidence, but for now here's each admin's removal reason:

    • jwmphall - Involved with covering up Mosley's involvement with the recent attacks against the server, helping coordinate the ownership vote-off with the group, and ultimately covering up his own involvement with the group as a whole.

    • Dr_fools - Providing (or enabling a malicious user to use his accounts to supply) administrator-exclusive resources to the group chat, some of which was then used by Mosley to taunt the admins publicly when he was raiding the server.

    • kanst - Providing administrator-exclusive resources to the group, one of which was used by Ivan to taunt staff members who discussed him in the admin chats before the attacks began.

    • Charge1158 - Involved with the attacks against the server, either as a supplier of accounts (specifically, VideoIsAFurry) or as a participant of the attacks.

Contrary to the group's belief, the reason I removed Dr_fools and jwmphall at the beginning of the investigation was because it was so blatantly obvious that they were all in a group chat that it was almost painful. I figured I'd remove them because they were the most likely candidates. At the time I had concluded it was one of them from the knowledge below:

    • I had screenshots of Mosley raiding the server, and he was an obvious member of the group chat (he went along with their jokes very fluently).

    • The only admin who was in that group chat and online on the forums at the time of the attackers taunting admins with admin-exclusive details was Dr_fools. I figured this out by comparing the time the raiders brought up admins-only topics from the forums with the "last online" timestamp that Flarum provides using mathematical calculations.

    • jwmphall is close to Mosley, to the point where he even has a rank on Mosley's server.

It's funny. One group member proudly stroked his ego by declaring that the group had so much power over the server, but I sure as fuck haven't noticed any difference to the community.
