Fun fact: As an experiment a while ago I actually wrote something in W95 that would let you toggle the demo mode, which basically means you get the singleplayer experience for free if you don't own a license of the game. I think the fact people can just create their own cryptocurrency with whatever amount they want like this speaks to the true value of crypto as a whole. With applications being public, it is extremely easy to influence the outcome of on an application by simply being popular with the community or having someone with influence back you. The Senior voting stage acts as a layer of defense against this to enforce quality control. Tizz put it really well in his reply:

It's obvious they did this to take advantage of the fact that kids don't know or can't be bothered to figure out how to compile the clients themselves or even understand what's going on under the hood, so they just snuck in a RAT that gives them their Minecraft session token along with opening up a backdoor on their computer to connect to.
