For context, I banned Lukas after he was caught building map art of a swastika with a player named C4R7M4N.

Aren't you the same dickhead who regularly a-logged excellentgamer1 and ItzSergioCobra regularly because of some shit that happened in a completely separate community?
After some delays related to my own dipshittery (see notes), I'm pleased to announce that @"erin"#107 and @"Tizz"#240 have been promoted to Senior Admin.
Congratulations!
Notes:
Quote! I would like to note that in previous Senior Admin rounds, I was actually retarded and didn't make dedicated threads announcing promotions. That's something I completely spaced out on, so I'm going to keep that in mind when handling future rounds.
! I ended up delaying the conclusion of the Senior Admin votes this time around because I fucked up by forgetting when it was supposed to be processed and was too sleep deprived at the time to fix it by the time I realized. That's on me, so my bad.
Despite my personal opinions on this matter (which I have already expressed in this thread), I've had to moderate this thread to remove a few inappropriate remarks. I've tried to remain as objective as possible to avoid a biased moderation, so please don't attack me for trying to firefight a thread like this. I was actually half-tempted to lock this thread outright to put it out of its misery, but decided to just moderate what I could instead.
Seeing what happened here as someone who didn't participate in the argument at all, I'm honestly dumbfounded and disappointed with how this turned out. Please remain civil when discussing sensitive shit like this and please do not escalate things.
What an utterly stupid decision. Why is the government getting involved in an individual's personal affairs?
It's obviously some sort of marketing tactic to promote their brand or whatever, but my god this is entertaining - they've been making fun of people who unironically own NFTs the most, and boy is it a treat.
Here's me violating each part of the retarded "Community Standards" that Microsoft unironically thinks you need to follow.
QuoteTreat other community members with respect. This is core to everything we believe in. When you express your opinions, please do so politely and respectfully.
Fuck off
QuoteIf there’s a chat function available in a game or on a website, be mindful of other people’s experience. This includes avoiding excessive posting or spamming. Also, all-caps is often read as YELLING! And yelling at someone is usually not very nice.

QuoteIf you have an argument or unpleasant encounter with another player, our lovely moderation team are available to advise and assist. Please contact them and/or report the player using the tools available within the game. Whatever the situation, don’t “name and shame” other members of the community publicly as this counts as harassment.
Actually violated this one a year ago.
QuoteThink twice about the information that you share publicly. Do not post personal information (phone numbers, email addresses, passwords, account information, physical addresses, first and last names, etc) about yourself or others.

QuoteCreate content and conversation that is positive and encouraging, rather than negative and disparaging. It should go without saying, but don’t ever create posts or content with the purpose of starting a fight or to elicit a negative response.

QuoteModding in Minecraft is only acceptable in the base Minecraft game under the existing EULA.
Fun fact: As an experiment a while ago I actually wrote something in W95 that would let you toggle the demo mode, which basically means you get the singleplayer experience for free if you don't own a license of the game. I scrapped it shortly afterwards but it was still interesting to see in action.
I get that this is a huge strawman argument, but holy shit some of these rules are stupid.
As of 1.19.1 Prerelease 1, players can now be banned as well, and as it turns out, no, it isn't just Realms, given it defines "online play" and "Realms" separately.
Yeah, good luck convincing 2b2t to follow that shit.
I think the fact people can just create their own cryptocurrency with whatever amount they want like this speaks to the true value of crypto as a whole. I don't care what kind of fancy ass algorithms back your technology up, if you can't explain how what a computer says should be considered valuable at all to the average person in a way that makes actual sense without needing to resort to buzzwords like "algorithms", then it's probably a scam.
Does anybody remember the days when we would have spontaneous events that were hugely successful and would be thought back on for years to come, such as the unofficial anarchy event and the golf events?
Could we have some of those? I swear it's like this formal stuff isn't anywhere nearly as successful as those kinds of events are.
I'm fine with not doing the locking, but I feel I should address one of the points you presented.

With applications being public, it is extremely easy to influence the outcome of on an application by simply being popular with the community or having someone with influence back you. The Senior voting stage acts as a layer of defense against this to enforce quality control. Tizz put it really well in his reply:

He has already been banned for quite a while now.
It's obvious they did this to take advantage of the fact that kids don't know or can't be bothered to figure out how to compile the clients themselves or even understand what's going on under the hood, so they just snuck in a RAT that gives them their Minecraft session token along with opening up a backdoor on their computer to connect to.
What a dick move.
