I'd like to be able to use my wireless Xbox 360 controllers to play games on the PC, but there is a problem that prevents me from doing so.

Unlike the Xbox One and Xbox Series X, the Xbox 360 wireless controller cannot be connected to a PC through something convenient like Bluetooth. With Microsoft being Microsoft, you instead need to get a special adapter to be able to do that shit. If we were in the year 2010/2011, this would be no big deal. The problem is, it's been nearly a decade since the Xbox 360 was considered mainstream, and as a result the official adapter is no longer being manufactured.

These days, you need to rely on getting either a used adapter from god knows where or a sketchy third party adapter from a place like Amazon (where the build quality is questionable at best). I do not trust these third party manufacturers, and I'd love to avoid getting scammed by some shithead from a place like eBay just for some used adapter.

So, I would like to know the following:

    • Has anybody figured out how this thing works and built a reliable replica with it?
    • Is there a cheap way to build one yourself (even if nobody has reverse engineered the actual receiver)?
    • In general, what is the best option?

Cause of the beef I had with the staff back then and he hated me to the point he doxed me multiple times but I rather move on from that the person is no longer even staff

    Not entirely true.

For context, 1RS was indefinitely banned in May 2020 because it was concluded that he needed help that TotalFreedom as a community was and still will likely never be able to provide. While the indefinite ban request was rather controversial as many noted he was being provoked by others, it was mostly agreed that his actions still warranted the indefinite ban.

If you read the original request, you can find the original evidence that led to his indefinite ban. I've included some screenshots below from that original request, but there were additional pieces of evidence not included below.

There does actually exist some mention of doxxing coming into place in the request, as many remarks about how some members have his personal information and how it could come in handy to get him help are present in it.

Vouch on the permban but since you guys seem to know his IRL info I suggest getting actual authorities involved as it seems much deeper than the average "I'm gonna kms" that we see on TF. Other than that, don't engage with him anymore

we should try to get him some help how we would go about do that idk

There are people that know his IRL details I believe

While I understand that the situation at the time was rough and people can change in that time period, your recent actions (including attempting to IP-log a staff member, then trying to cover it up) are still big red flags about your behavior.

    Object.

This detective work seems like some shit I would do.

Vouch, Itemizer is good enough but this plugin in addition to having all the features of Itemizer, it has several more. I don't think that adding this plugin is necessary or critical, but it'd certainly be an improvement.

I think it's a bit redundant to have two plugins with nearly identical functionality where there are some major overlaps.

On December 29, 2010, FrankL (one of the pioneers of TotalFreedom) uploaded a video of the Nether server to YouTube. It could be accessed by going to this link. Mark would embed the video over the years on several occasions until sometime in 2014/2015 when the video was deleted after FrankL closed his YouTube account.

Forum posts of the video from Mark do give a description of it, albeit with very little details.

[...] here's a clip made by FrankL exactly 3 years ago showing the beta days - not sure there's any clip from alpha days. Notice my old avatar that looks more like my forum avatar.

I remember watching the video at some point when it was still available, but details are muddy or possibly even incorrect as it has been quite some time since I last saw it. The thumbnail was of a person playing a beta version of Minecraft (given the latest version at the time, it must have been Beta 1.1_02). It showed the Nether server map, and you could see a player (I can't remember who). The video itself showed off the server and some of the stuff within, such as WorldEdit. There was an instance of teleportation, but where exactly I do not remember.

Not one copy of the video has been found and saved since then. As such, it is currently lost. I have been on a hunt for this historical video for years, as the earliest video of the server that is still available was of the Earth server from 2011. If found, it would be considered the holy grail of TotalFreedom historical content. Any information useful for this search is welcome.
