@Telesphoreo#1656 No, I wasn't. I was able to connect literally a few hours ago.

Nice null-route.
Over the years, I've built up a collection of old Minecraft screenshots that I've taken. I've got a lot to dig through, but so far I've managed to include a bunch of old screenshots of this server, the origins of the TotalFreedom SMP server, and some other affairs. More screenshots will be added over time.
You can view the collection here: https://github.com/videogamesm12/Screenshots
A few years back I did an internet speed test while I was at a camp and it was literally dial-up speeds.
I had to contact family using the Lite version of Facebook Messenger because I didn't have service. Surprisingly, however, I was able to load the old ProBoards forums even if it was slow as shit.
I'd like to tie up some loose ends real quick because it's better to do that now than later.
Quote@Telesphoreo#1466 That's on me, but at the same time I feel like that thread was made out of pure spite of pissing me off.
My aim wasn't to piss you off with that thread, but I get why you feel that. I don't exactly remember what I was thinking at the time (it was like 6 AM and I hadn't slept) but I do know I created the thread out of frustration mainly because I didn't know why Plex wasn't open source and requests to know why were denied.
Quote@Telesphoreo#1466 Making threads like TFM is bloated and open source Plex open source Plex don't help anything. I know TFM is bloated and making a big deal about it doesn't help.
The thread about how much TFM is bloated was going to be created as a way to highlight the bloat issue to the developers because I didn't think anyone really cared. This was mainly because nobody was being transparent about anything development related and hadn't been since the 2020 Ownership Crisis. I figured if I publicized the issue, it would hold the developers' feet to the fire and the issue would become a larger priority.
Thank you for your service.
I have a couple of ideas for changes that should be made to the TotalFreedomMod itself to make it more flexible for server owners.
Move the shop to a separate plugin. Not every server owner wants to have a shop on their server. This isn't a core feature that's needed to run a free-op server.
Remove useless features like Reddit integration, 4chan mode, and several joke commands. These aren't required to run and serve no use other than for a one-off joke. If I recall correctly, one of the joke commands was literally a school shooting joke. Useless things like these do nothing but bloat the plugin even further and are hardly used.
Make messages customizable and consistent. Judging from some of the limited bits of source code from Plex that I've seen, this was going to be a thing in Plex but since that isn't likely going to be finished due to recent events, this idea should be implemented into the TotalFreedomMod. I actually have attempted to implement this in the past on both the 5.0 codebase (on a scrapped fork of the plugin that I was working on for my own server) and more recently the 4.3 codebase. Both attempts were successful, but somewhat hackish. As a server owner, I don't want to have to recompile the plugin if I want to change what a command says.
What do you think?
@DragonSlayer2189#1456 The reason I removed Discord integration was because aside from the security concerns of linking a Minecraft account to a Discord server (one which has a bot that essentially has full access to the Minecraft server), it isn't needed to run a freedom server.
Quote@Telesphoreo#1457 i saw that but it also gets rid of the shop and master builder stuff entirely.
I removed both for different reasons.
The rule is definitely too vague. Does an external image host link count as linking to an external third party? What if you're linking to someone's video on YouTube? What if you're linking to an archived post on another website?
Vouch.
@Noah#1410 The reason I'm suggesting we have a check in place for admin status along with the standard UUID check is so that admins could delete troll warps. If the person using the command is an admin, it would delete the warp regardless.
From what I recall, we used to use ClanForge back in 2014 to about 2017, which came with the Multiplay server we were using. According to the attached screenshot and my somewhat vague memory of the panel, it had the option to swap out worlds, reboot the server, use the in-game console, and view server-related statistics. It didn't have any integration with the actual Minecraft server or any other official platform.
Now, I'm absolutely not suggesting that we go back to Multiplay, but what I am suggesting is that we either find a barebones secure panel that actually logs shit and does only those things and nothing else, or we make our own panel. One that doesn't support Discord integration and doesn't allow you to integrate it with the server would be perfect.
Here's an idea I had that might work but I'm not too sure.
We should look into how EssentialsX stores its warps data and modify it to include the UUID of the person who set it. In /delwarp, we can then add a check to see if one the following conditions are met:
If neither of these conditions are met, the warp is not deleted. Otherwise, it is. To resolve the problem of /setwarp overwriting existing warps, we can implement a similar check but also have a check to see if the warp exists first.
The other solutions given in the posts above mine above may work, but they are only workarounds which either overcomplicate things (and end up contributing to another problem in some cases) or don't actually solve the problem in the first place.
Modifying EssentialsX directly is the most effective solution which is the closest to the spirit of this suggestion. It would resolve the problem at its core while also allowing players to keep using both commands as per usual.

@Telesphoreo#1314 Not a good answer. It is most certainly everyone's business considering the fact that it's literally a rewrite of the core plugin of TotalFreedom as a whole. I don't want to solve a stupid cipher to be able to access its source code or wait until a "preview" is available. I want to see what the developers are up to and how far the development of the plugin is, instead of being left in the dark.
Briternet Explorer.
@Telesphoreo#1309 Why?
Plex, according to some of the developers working on it, is going to be an overhaul of the TotalFreedomMod. At the moment, everyone except for the developers appear to be in the dark in regards to information regarding its development. Even though it's not finished, its source code should be made available to the public so that everyone knows exactly what is going on.

fuck this i'm not doing another cipher
Congratulations!
