@Shdwo#12792 I mean the fact that her actions caused other OPs to believe it was okay. I am entitled to my own opinion and my opinion has not changed.

@Shdwo#12790 I have had other OPs do what Rianne did and cite her as precedent. She has set an example for other operators in thinking that making fake announcements is fine. As for the two months ago thing, users claim she's made fake ban messages as recently as the 23rd of March.

@videogamesm12#12780 I don’t really believe I am, if a new user joined and saw an announcement that said "Void is a polish cow", what would they think?
You're right in saying that if done in game, the user would be smitten - but if done repeatedly, they would most certainly be banned.

Object. This user constantly posts fake official messages in the freedom-01 general chat, causing players to believe what she said was an official TF announcement or the likes.

I was actually just about to make a thread on this, and call this user out for doing it. This is quite a serious offence in my opinion, it is formatted in such a way that users would not know that this message was posted by Rianne. This is quite literally impersonating the entire server announcement system, something that I deem a subsection of conduct policy 1D. This user is in no way fit to be admin having done this as recently as last week.

This is becoming personal. Please keep the conversation objective to avoid a forum ban.

@wild1145#12661 This is a very dangerous precedent to set. People make jokes like that all the time, and banning users for it essentially strips them of the last freedom this server has to offer. If I said "I'm actually gonna murder you shdwo", would I be banned and suspended?
-
@Panther#12659 Should have never been banned in the first place.
-
There is no way this was actually a ban. This is the most trigger-happy ban I’ve seen in a long while.
Vouch.
Can we also please think before banning someone for something they clearly did not intend? I very highly doubt this user was serious. The only precedent of this rule ever being applied (to my knowledge) was when Darth was suspended - and he was fully serious when he suggested breaking the law.

Stay safe. Love.

Custom login messages should be created by the user who bought them using the command /loginmessage. Us admins will work to moderate this effectively.
There should be no question about admins competency, we are well trained and adept at our jobs.

@simplynick#12526 I have already sorted this out. The users involved can be DMd to you if you wish, but I would ask you to not sanction them twice as I already have.

The Egyptian/Indian way of drinking tea involves boiling water in a pan, adding the tea bags to the water (still in the pan), adding milk to the mixture (still in the pan), and letting that simmer for about five minutes. The end result shows us a truly mixed and set drink of milk, water and teabags.

Vouch, this feature lost its purpose when we moved to premium.

@lyicx#12452
To build on this, an event host will now be seen as a valid rank in the TF hierarchy, as they will now have a much greater and regular role to fulfil. An application process, and policy will follow shortly. If you have any queries regarding this please DM me on discord.

@zeseryu#12432 Vouch? You should be elected in if you wish to do Executive tasks lol
This isn’t a vouch/object post. Ryan already changed the democratic way of electing executives by saying that he has the power to appoint/fire executives at his own discretion.
Quote@wild1145#12 Executive Appointments / Removals
All appointments and removals from executive status are at the sole responsibility of the server owner. Executive positions may be added and removed as the owner sees fit, and as appropriate additional executive roles may be created in order to fulfil the growing requirements of the server. If the community feel an executive is not fulfilling their duties as an executive, their first port of call should be to raise this with the server owner, where a sensible discussion can be had.
The owner will where practical hold a formal application process for appointing new executives where the entire community will be encouraged to post feedback on the candidates whom are applying for the role(s) in question. Where this is not practical (As deemed by the owner) executives can be directly appointed.
This policy was changed several months ago. Users should be aware of important edits such as these.

@wild1145#12359 Thank you. Can we please delete all comments relating to anything other than this post, as I’d like it to be an official post.

@Ashaz#12340 We were literally told we were meant to "take on any outstanding executive duties as part of the ESL" in Ryan's post. If people told me I couldn’t do stuff before obviously I wouldn’t have. This was an outstanding task, and we took it on. I have no idea what the fuck the issue is when we did exactly what Ryan's post allowed us to.

Elmon I asked you this in admin lounge and you failed to reply, probably because you couldn’t find anything. Show me where it says in the exec policy that stand in executives are only there as show pieces to "maintain the status quo".
