    We are currently furthering the investigation into whether or not Ginlang watched Anti take the fall. Myself and Luke are 99% sure he did, but Video likes to be extra cautious with these cases (very respectable)

It is mentioned that they cooperated with a rogue player, which is exactly what you did. It is mentioned that they provided an unauthorised player with admin-only channel view, which is exactly what you did.

    I am telling you, she got suspended because of the same DMs you leaked. You do not know more than me about this. I was at the forefront of investigating the leaks and I know for a fact that Anti was suspended because of what you did.

    This entire argument is nonsensical. Video is an incredibly competent EAO and if you had told him it was you, it would have been much easier for all of us.


    Do you really want to go toe-to-toe over what seems to be such a one-sided argument? I don’t understand what leg you even have to stand on. Anti was suspended for what you did, and you kept quiet. It was also the topic of conversation in admin lounge for a few days - leaking DMs in particular.


    Either way, I will open the IBR and we can see which argument holds more weight. Us arguing amongst ourselves is pointless.

    This is ridiculous. You were the one who leaked the screenshots. If you saw Anti get taken down for something you did, and you kept silent, you’re an asshole. About Video having the final say, if you told him it was you he would have definitely taken that seriously - as would have all the senior admins.


    You were dishonest when you let Anti get suspended for leaking DMs. There were countless admin-chat discussions about a mole in the server, and you not only kept quiet about you being the mole, but you also contributed to said discussions. There was a mention of a mole on the forums too, on an admin-only thread - I find it hard to believe that you did not know the admin officer team was on the lookout for the mole. You still kept quiet.


    I am contemplating filing an IBR for you as you watched Anti get suspended for something that you did, which I can argue is the equivalent of framing someone.

    A key disparity between the current owner and previous owners is that Ryan is treating this role as a professional one. He has worked to corporatise the server, going as far as restricting the developers to ensure everything works in a professional and office-like way. As a result, the running of the server is much more organised - people can see a flow of work done, a strict hierarchy with staff, and a more standardised application function for roles that would previously just have been handed out.


    However, people don’t seem to differentiate a professional owner and server from an amateurish one. The reason people think Ryan is a tyrant is because they have been under Seth’s tenure as owner, or have heard about times when the owner was much more lenient. With corporatisation comes stricter enforcement of power; i doubt you can go into any store’s shop and demand the owner makes changes, or that the owner sympathises with you. This metaphor will certainly go over some people’s heads, and they will say that this server is nothing like a shop - but that’s the thing, it is becoming more like that. The server is changing. It’s becoming more like a business, and in a business the owner (the entrepreneur) is sovereign.


    You are all consuming content that Ryan puts out, and while I have relentlessly gone against Ryan in the past and I do think corporatisation of this server is not the way forward, we can’t act confused and hurt especially since Ryan made it clear he would go down this path from day 1.


    TLDR the server is becoming more corporate and professional, and with that comes a hierarchy and stricter enforcing of rules, and a loss of certain interactions with the owner.

  • Brilliant admin temp bans me for no reason

    A completely unsympathetic and unrelenting staffing team fail to see any view other than their own.


    I understand that what he was doing isn’t allowed, but I also understand that he wasn’t aware of the rules. He claims to have used this same feature on Wurst a few days ago, with no punishment - it’s obvious why he thought it wasn’t against the rules.

    If you don’t care then I won’t support your case beyond this, but I am sympathetic with you because I have an insight into the culture of admins to treat OPs as the enemy, rather than living beings who have rational thought processes and make mistakes. I also think(?) Luke supports your case too. It would be a shame for you to give up now and remain banned.
