Again, does anyone know what plugin causes this?
-
Faster than APT, slower than pacman...
and slower than nala
How do you know that it's the package manager being slow/fast and not because of network conditions?

every time i open 1.19.84 i feel my constitutional right of freedom of speach as a uk citizen is wiped away ...
Sorry, but refusing to use versions 1.19.1+ will not prevent Microsoft/Mojang from banning you. This is because that the global moderation system is implemented to Minecraft's authentication servers (it's designed that if you're banned, your authentication keys will just be dropped). This therefore means that this system is somewhat backported to older versions of the game.

Yeah, but Debug Sticks are properly blocked in Worldguard

It's possible to change the color of the grass in a Worldguard Region
To reproduce this, all you have to do is be in a Worldguard Region and place a Powder Snow Bucket.
(If you're admin, make sure that your /rg bypass is disabled)
Expected behaviour is that the grass shouldn't change color.
Relogging does not fix the issue, confirming that the block is changed server-side.
The worst part about this is that it isn't logged by CoreProtect.
It's also important to note the server is running an outdated version of Worldguard, it's recommended to upgrade to 7.0.8 (server is currently running 7.0.6)

Indef bans where changed to long term right?
So would he not have to wait?
No, because this ban was before when long term bans were a thing.

Withdrawn, it's clear that I have flaws that I need to address. Besides, it's been over 2 weeks, so this application should be denied anyway.

There are also quite a few objections to Aquinas’ arguments, I can go over them if people are interested.
I'm interested

Okay so we all know that in most of the religions a god, or a group of gods created the universe. What's not explained is, where do these gods come from? Like, who or what created god?
And if whatever created god, created god. Then who, or what, created the thing that created god?

These blocks should remain unblocked and be completely removed from the blacklist.
Reason: Gravity is disabled and we had no problems with them since we disabled gravity.
-
Anyways, server is back up. This thread should be locked.

So, say, you found a grief that is like 2 days old, does the griefer still get banned or no?
What about 3 days? 4 days? A week? A month? Any amount of time?
Inserting my opinion into the mix: I feel like that banning players for something that they committed a long time ago is unfair.

Once upon time, there was a person that.. uh.. I don't know the name to.. let's just call him "Human". So Human was doing his thing, walking around the grass until a giant wall appeared. This wall wanted Human to order pizza, so Human ordered pizza and shared it with the wall. The wall disappeared and Human can continue on with his adventure to beat the giant dragon thing for reasons unknown. So he did that, but then the super huge gigantic door, which is 4 meters high and 3 meters wide, stopped Human, but Human just opened it and continued his quest. However, an evil version of Human, named "Human2" stopped his path. "I am Human2, I will destroy you", Human2 said. "no u", Human said, and Human2, at his final stand said "How is this possible?". Suddently smoke started to appear around Human, covering him, when the smoke disappeared a dragon at where was Human, appeared. "I'm actually the dragon all along!!" the Dragon said. "No it cannot be!" Human2 said. Then the dragon burned Human2 with his fire breath.
THE END

Players never had a say how long they were banned before. Why should someone who has broken the rules decide their own punishment?
I do agree that the punishments should be up to the administrators, but challenging your own ban =/= deciding your punishment. If someone believes that they have been banned for too long, then they should be able to and the community shall decide if that's the case.
Yet we do... That's the entire role of the ban manager. If you don't want to get banned don't break the rules.
Alco is just another human being like you, me, and everyone here. No-one has the time to go through the, thousands upon thousands of bans from 2010 to now.

Quote from KaddicusAlmighty
It really was empty. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
What do you mean it's empty? There is something there, can't you not see it or something?

Players will have no say on the length of their ban, nor any means to appeal the length once the ban manger issues the ban.
Agreeing with videogamesmash here. The revoking of players' ability to challenge the length of the ban is so against the name of the server. Which connects to your second point:
TF Staff may challenge a ban duration if they believe it is unfair or does not align with precedence already set on the server.
Not to be rude to any future, current, or past staff members, but I doubt that any of them are actually that proactive to check and call out every single ban duration. This is why players shall retain the ability to challenge their ban duration because, once again, there isn't going to be someone checking everyone's bans.

what if the superowner is the original owner of tf
aka markbyron
Like I said, the Super Owner cannot be Markbyron for reasons I already discussed:
Theory 1: The Super Owner is Markbyron
It is possible that Markbyron is actually the Super Owner, but he's just denying it. However, I disagree with this theory because the theory is just based on the fact that just because Markbyron founded the server he must be the Super Owner. It's possible that Markbyron is only claimed as Founder by the Super Owner to make it harder for people to uncover the Super Owner's true identity.
