↩ Allink I highly doubt that you have lagged on an RTX 3080, not even with Mojang's abominable coding. If you have done, bloody hell there's got to be something wrong with your machine because I've NEVER in all the years I've been messing about with NBT have I caused myself to lag with empty spawners or lightning bolts unless I've started being a complete idiot and placed an absolute ton of them. You can say til you're blue in the face "getting a better computer doesn't apply here" but clearly if others aren't experiencing problems with lower end hardware then it's a problem with your machine in particular? For reference, my crappy old Inspiron 530 had a core 2 duo e8400, 4GB DDR2 800MHz and a Radeon HD 7470 at its best and spawners never treated my game like shit unless again, I acted like a moron and placed a ton of them.

This has been a thing on TF for years, hell I brought weird spawners to TF back in 2017 and I probably wasn't the first. They're harmless in small amounts and if a small number of entities are lagging you I'd recommend getting a better computer rather than blaming items and other users, or ask politely if they could move the spawners elsewhere if they're in a location that affects everyone. But in all honesty, years ago my crappy old Dell Inspiron 530 could handle a reasonable amount of spawners before it got laggy so shrug, that was with TNT minecart spawners which explode upon contact with the floor when dropped from a height

It's not perfect but here's what I propose, keeping in with the current colour scheme on the discord logo.
Here's a second one I knocked together.

https://c.tenor.com/0zmL-oDZ_BIAAAAM/noob-olydri.gif you know what, vouch this actually sounds realistic.

↩ Telesphoreo How so? The plugin would be coded for you already, so all that realistically needs doing is setting appropriate permissions up for users so they can access the features that they would need and flagging land that can or cannot be claimed.

↩ simplynick cowgomoo was a legend, hope he's doing well. While I'm here, I'm like in a semi-active state so you could say I'm gone but then again, am I?
-
↩ Telesphoreo But in that case, you're saying a buggy hot mess that's causing nothing but issues for the end user is a viable solution, when in fact that wouldn't really be the truth. If it's broke, fix it. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. TF's dev team has enough of a task on keeping the server up to date so why burden yourself trying to fix extremely broken code when you can implement an easy to use, fuss free solution that doesn't need to waste the resources of the dev team trying to iron out bugs in broken code.
-
↩ Telesphoreo Then what would you deem to be the correct replacement? Nothing other than factions to me seems to be closer to what TFGuilds' concept is.
-
↩ Telesphoreo I'm gonna be honest here, yeah TFGuilds doesn't require the mess around that Factions would require in terms of permissions, however factions plugins as a whole seem to be able to manage groups of users much better than what TFGuilds currently can and the mainstream factions plugins get regular updates. Worldguard itself will probably never be that accessible to end users on here and thus leaves OPs with no ways to protect their build without asking an admin, and then that's dependant on whether the admin in question WANTS to carry out a worldguard task on a given structure. Also I'm pretty sure not all land would have to be part of a faction as when you're configuring a factions plugin you still have to manually flag land that's for factions to claim, land that's "Warzone", "Safezone" and "Wilderness". Pretty sure if you don't want any of those flags on specific parts of a world, it's possible. Why do people still defend TFGuilds when all I ever really see with that plugin is people moaning about stuff being broken, stop settling with bug ridden broken code just because it's the easier option.

↩ @'fndndjdnsnsn' Worldguard is an entirely different beast, but to address your "malicious use" point there's trolls with every feature possible is there not? Trolls can still be punished accordingly, this plugin wouldn't impede that.
