Bump. I didn't know Java 17 came out so I was testing Java 16. I effortlessly upgraded to Java 17 using Pterodactyl and the good news is that everything works in its entirety. Yes, even AsyncWorldEdit works under Java 17. TFM compiles under Java 17 as well (and now will going forward at least on TFMC). Performance does seem significantly better on Java 17 for me with overall reduced CPU usage. However, memory usage is slightly increased from averaging 1.9GB to 2.25GB

Also, I believe I've manually applied the patches from AMG's TFM into this one. I don't think it'll be hard to maintain since AMG hardly has any developmental work in the first place.

↩ @'Ryan' cheat flags were not used. I didn't even know there was a thing until you mentioned it. they are the default pterodactyl flags

↩  FromTimeToTime the truth is, my intention was to only pull in the changes from the AMG repositories. this was in case wild took down AMG and we could still continue work on the projects (steven contacted me about this)

I sort of got carried away and started updating stuff because I'm like that. The answer is complicated. Working under Seth felt more like a volunteer job (which is what this is). Working under Wild feels like working for a company. I don't know how to really explain it, sorry.

Just two notes of warning:

• The TotalFreedomMod is from the one I used back in June. So, basically the version on the repo is using a version of TFM from AMG from June. Any help backporting the changes would be extremely helpful. You can see it here: https://github.com/TotalFreedo…48479ac2f447b850070a2ddfb
  However, a few things need to be kept from the StevenFreedom version (Ptero integration, I'm probably forgetting something else)
• Essentials has added a few new commands that I haven't had the opportunity to test. Everything should be working though.

I used to be the lead developer for TF
4 - A short bit about why you want to become a developer for TF.
TF is closing and I'm familiar with pretty much everything. As the former lead dev, I'm already familiarized with everything. I also started a new project called Plex which never surfaced. I am already familiar with all of the core TF plugins, how the server works, and how to keep the modified TF changes up to date with the plugin. I also was communicative, although the only evidence remains on the ProBoards forum

Plex was gonna be a thing... If we were looking at a TFM replacement Plex is still open for consideration

So I actually guess I had some ESP or something... Yesterday I was thinking about the future of TF. Mainly to see if TF and/or wild would be around after I graduate with my CS degree to tell him I think a panel is still superior rather than not.

I did a big cleanup of my server yesterday, which included the joke StevenFreedom server.

Since TF is shutting down, I'll convert them to be non Steven oriented in case no one else does.

Also, I feel that I should disclose that the TotalFreedomMC repository will remain. I don't know what Wild plans to do with the AtlasMediaGroup forks of the projects but the TotalFreedomMC repo will remain up

Get an Epson. They come with ink and even the cheap ones print decently and the quality of the drivers is light years beyond HP. I made a thread about mine, but it's definitely way out of your budget. Laser printers and the ink tank ones are the best, but are more expensive. It's just a sacrifice. If you're only looking for something for a year than go ahead and get the cheapest that comes with ink. Just buy a new printer instead of ink and you'll probably last a year

Wild seems to do whatever he wants because "I'm the owner and I can ban who I want because I can interpret the rules however I like". As I said before wilds corporatized and over paranoid personality traits are gonna kill TF (aside from a lack of devs)
