just kidding, I'd totally be down. this can likely be done by zipping up a VMware virtual machine and then you can import it on any computer and only one person has to make it

↩  burger there are some parts of Texas that are on the regulated US grid. we didn't lose power however we lost water for a week from that storm. and yes it is, it just completely broke because of external factors from the cold, not everyone using heat at once

Unfortunately this doesn't seem to be possible. I've just set 1 to the keyboard and q to the mouse so I can just press them quickly. Wish you could do more advanced keybinds. I would be pissed if I actually paid full price for the keyboard and mouse, but since I didn't it's not that big of a deal

↩  Akefu-Brewer there is onboard memory for customized profiles. you can obviously use it as a keyboard but you cant use some of the features. it is possible to manually change settings on the keyboard without synapse but you have to memorize a lot of key combinations

Ok so I was at Costco today and I saw a bundle that was a steal of a deal. It was a Razer Blackwidow V3 keyboard, a Razer Deathadder V2 Pro, and a big ass mousepad. It was only $150. Normally I wouldn't buy expensive stuff like this but considering I needed a new mouse and keyboard badly I decided to get it, especially since it was an extremely good deal.

So I installed Razer Synapse and got a few profiles working. I went on each one and set Fn + 1 as a keymap to cycle down a profile. I setup matching profiles on the mouse and have two questions that I can't seem to find the answer to. Could I theoretically bind two commands to a key. What would be ideal is Fn + 1 is profile 1 which is set on both the keyboard and mouse. I can't seem to do that though. I can only select "cycle down a profile". If I use the "use next profile", that uses the one from the onboard memory. The problem with that one is that as soon as you reach the last profile its impossible to start over. Maybe there's another piece of software I can use to map the stuff instead. I have no idea but right now it's just an inconvenience.

Revolt is the best one I've tried so far. The downside (upside???) is that there is a Windows application but it's also much more web complete so you're not forced to download the application for full functionality. This is great for those on lower end PCs as you don't have to run a bloated electron app that's slower than a three legged donkey
