↩ @'Miasmus.' I don't have another spare monitor to test with. Unfortunately it doesn't happen consistently so I'm not sure. The only thing I've noticed is that it happens when my computer is under load so I'm thinking RAM

↩ simplynick I honestly really like ProBoards and think the new UI is fresh. I don't think we'll ever go back due to ads and the Viglink URLs being embedded. Also Wild doesn't like ProBoards TOS I think so I highly doubt it

Here's something I've noticed. It seems to happen the most when my computer is under load (i.e. Minecraft, IntelliJ, Discord, Spotify open) is when it happens. I don't recall it ever happening under idle. Could it potentially be the RAM? It's interesting to note that the configurations of the RAM are indeed weird and they're at different speeds. I've never had issues until now but I wouldn't be surprised if that was causing it.
I was thinking about replacing it with this? https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-3200MHz-Desktop-Memory/dp/B07RM39V5F/
I assume RAM is just compatible with all motherboards (coming from a world of Apple, can't assume anything) but I'd like to be sure

↩ @'Ryan' 1. It can take weeks for someone else to review it for some reason.
- This doesn't address the disorganization. The fact that stuff has to be reported on Jira, we do the work on GitHub, and are supposed to communicate on teams. GitHub does all 3 of those things much better than the current setup. Why not use it for all three?

I personally think the workflow should be changed. Now I'm not trying to put words in Paldiu's mouth but it even seems like he's disgruntled with the workflow. I don't want to throw anyone under the bus or blame anyone, but Wild was the one who setup the workflows and ultimately has control. I agree it should be Paldiu's decision and not Wilds, but wild owns the org. Wild genuinely seems to be unwilling to change the workflow but I feel like it would be much better if Paldiu was making the decision, because y'know, he's the lead dev

Quote
If you are referring to TFPatches this is being transferred to Ryan.
Quote↩ taah While that has been stafed multiple times, it was also in the plans I believe the eventually get rid of TFM anyways. Without a similar plugin, TF isn’t hiw it is. I understand your viewpoint but while Plex isn’t a TF project, I 100% guarantee you that it is licensed and forever open sourced. For our Plexus organization, we’re taking a professional standpoint and not letting personal grudges affect the development. If we were to let personal grudges affect us, that would put all this to waste:
This entirely. Having it be under TF was a mistake we initially made. Plex is now entirely its own organization and has no relation to TF which is for the better. There is zero benefit to ending Plex development. We have sunk an insane amount of hours, effort, and money that it would be a huge waste for me to "ragequit" or delete the projects. With that being said, for additional protection, I've mirrored the entire Plexus organization as well at https://git.plex.us.org/plexus-mirror. I just thought I'd clarify that Plex development is not predicated on what happens on TF.
Quote↩ RedEastWood Maybe we should drop our ego and switch to Plex. It’s time.
Based.
Now I'd like to talk about two things.
Firstly, I feel like TFMs codebase has gotten extremely bloated and unmaintainable. It's really hard, especially for a theoretical new developer, to dive into the current mess the codebase is in. TFM truly is so big that changing one thing can have consequences on five different other things. This is the reality for most huge projects, but they also don't demand such rapid progress like TF does.Secondly, this post serves as my resignation from Developer. I made this decision a while ago, but my rank wasn't removed, nor a post explaining why was made. The reason I have chosen to resign is due to the TotalFreedom General License. I don't agree with the license and won't write any more code under that license. I effectively can't distribute the code that I write the way I want without someone else's permission. I wasn't reading the fine print when I signed back up for developer, nor had I really given a thought to it. I attempted to compromise by working on other projects (e.g. Scissors, the bridges, etc), but working on TFM (which is licensed under TFGL) is a requirement. It is my deepest regrets that it must end this way, but there is nothing else I can do other than simply not write any code under that license. Note that there is Section 3 of TFGL which states the following:
Quote- Submission of Contributions
Unless You explicitly state otherwise, any Contribution intentionally submitted for inclusion in the Work by You to the Licensor shall be under the terms and conditions of this License, without any additional terms or conditions. Notwithstanding the above, nothing herein shall supersede or modify the terms of any separate license agreement you may have executed with Licensor regarding such Contributions.
Unfortunately this is too vague and Prozza takes quite a while to write back. Also, Ryan said he wouldn't accept code not licensed under TFGL for TFM so that seals the deal.
My resignation does not mean Plex development will stop. The Plexus organization will still continue as it is entirely separate from TF.

I'd like to also clarify that I am with Red. I agree that Taah's behavior was definitely inappropriate. I'm talking to Taah and the rest of the team about this so it doesn't happen again in the future as I wasn't aware this happened.
-
↩ RedEastWood If you thought they were condescending, I apologize. However, they were not intended to be. Unfortunately, Taah is incorrect that my intention was not to clown on you. The actual reason was to justify having a documentation. I personally felt like it was going to be overkill or a waste of time and wanted to gauge interest before I sunk hours into documenting Plex. Keep in mind that it's a hard task, considering I don't even have spellcheck to help and I have to recreate every step when documenting things. It also took time, research, effort, and money to find a suitable software that I could use to write the documentation. The actual reasoning behind sending the screenshot is much deeper than "HAHAHAHAH I WANT TO CLOWN RED". I understand that I could have been nicer and not sent the meme videos. I did not know you found them to be condescending, it was a (pathetic) attempt at being somewhat funny.
-
↩ RedEastWood The video I sent in the Plex conversation was also a meme. It's near impossible for me to provide in depth support for Plex beta 1 when we could barely even get it to compile or work, let alone explain it to someone else. I did not know Taah would call you that and ultimately I wasn't there when it happened so I have no idea why it's being regarded as my fault. The initial reason I sent it was to outline that we definitely needed to setup some form of documentation, not to clown you.
-
↩ RedEastWood I unfortunately can't give you free support when you only send one screenshot and demand for my support. I have been nice, and provided support for you for free prior. It's really hard for me to be nice when you demand support, and don't even ask nicely.

https://packs.smokes-crystal.rocks/oZCi9KZTrJDS.pngIf you want to nitpick the bad parts, then fine. But I've tried to be nice to you but it unfortunately doesn't go well when you demand that I do everything for you.
-
↩ RedEastWood Unfortunately, my initial messages were trying to be funny and nice telling you that the plugin (when beta 1 was released) was not ready to be used by frankly anyone.
I'll go ahead and save you the time.
Quote -
↩ RedEastWood While I won't say that was exactly nice, you weren't either. You said "got it to work bitch" and "ur dumbass plugin has no fucking documentation" as if I'm required to provide support for Plex.
