For not doing what it's asked to do and resigning when there are complaints they're not following the plan? We're stuck on 1.17, have to stop developing TFM and get rid of all-OP model because of them. Kudos to the remaining 2 (iirc) but we're basically stuck on all levels despite a clear plan of action and priorities.

It's ignorant and rude comments like this that wants to not make me contribute to this server at all. The problem with the development team lies in people like you who complain and treat VOLUNTEERS like slaves. The amount of time I've spent on Scissors and getting good infrastructure for it, most of it on my own dime as well, just shows you don't even know the full picture. TF wouldn't even be half as stable if it weren't for Scissors and fixing all these exploits. And it's still actively being developed and I've been continually updating and porting patches to the latest Minecraft version as well.

Hello everyone,

This is a quick update to announce that Scissors 1.20.1 is now available for download. You can download it here: https://ci.plex.us.org/job/Scissors/job/1.20.1/

As always, make sure you take backups of your server files and worlds especially.

I'd also like to say that Allink and Luna are now official Scissors contributors to the project.

Many infrastructure improvements have been made as well. Firstly, I have removed the publishing block from the Jenkinsfile. The reason for this is because in theory, anyone could've published to the Nexus because it was simply relying on a check on the Jenkinsfile to not publish. It could've been removed and anything (such as malware for example) could've been published. I have taken a different approach to ensure builds get published to Nexus automatically but in a more secure way. However, another change is that the javadocs will automatically upload as well. Before, it used to be a manual task and I often only uploaded them only ever once. Now, it is done automatically.

Also, changes to the website have been made. You can now download the latest build from the https://scissors.gg website which offers a slightly more friendly interface than Jenkins.

This is a security advisory to let you know that none of the Scissors infrastructure has been compromised as part of the recent fractureiser malware discovery. Scissors is hosted on the Plexus CI server and I have ran the script provided by Prism Launcher and no results came up. I will continue to monitor the server for any changes. Note that any Scissors jars you may have downloaded that were NOT from the CI server may not be safe as apparently this malware attempts to infect all .jar files. We recommend only downloading the latest version from the Plexus CI server.

Note that Scissors was hosted on a separate Jenkins instance until very recently. That Jenkins installation was not affected. Fleek's dedicated server was being used to build Scissors as the agent provided by Wild was almost always offline. I have checked Fleek's dedicated server and that was not infected either. As far as I am aware, official builds of Scissors were not impacted and I will continue to monitor the Plexus CI server.

Checking Scissors JARS

You can check the authenticity of Scissors JAR files using Jenkins.

Step 1. Go to the following link: https://ci.plex.us.org/fingerprintCheck

Step 2. Upload a JAR. You should see a page like this if the JAR is authentic.

If the JAR was not found in Jenkins, you will see this page instead

Note that JARs you may have downloaded from the CI server may not actually show up. This is due to moving Jenkins instances as of recent so older builds won't show up. The recommendation is to download the latest build from the CI server and discard any old builds, official or not.
