Posting this as a quick FYI: I won't be renewing the https://smokes-crystal.rocks domain primarily because nobody was using it except me. I do as well and the UI isn't great. The cursor is always bugged out and I can never seen to scroll down to post without having to switch keyboards. It's very irritating for me as well.

Not to mention the fact that you also can’t press the done button to close the keyboard you have to scroll down, click on anything that isn’t interactable and only then does it close, very annoying when you are like me trying to copy stuff from another tab into the text box
Yes!! This has been happening to me as well, that's what I've been trying to describe. Except I can't scroll down without doing some black magic. It's been very annoying to use the new forums

Are you sure that's a compromise you're willing to make? Typically from what I've seen you're only getting good performance when your laptop is actually plugged in. Otherwise it throttles itself which is not ideal. I've had great satisfaction with my M1 MacBook Air and the render times were pretty good for me tbh. Not sure I'd be able to recommend it for your work flow since I'm not sure exactly what you're doing.
To be completely honest, I just needed a laptop that renders compositing in After Effects faster than my current 1650 laptop 😂 I'll most definitely learn 3D modelling and animation in my college on the first year but, I'm having a hard time deciding whether I should wait 2-3 more years before actually upgrading (A part of me wants to use my pavillion laptop to the fullest too, knowing that i've used it for only like 2 years).
Who knows maybe rtx cards would be a lot more powerful in the future with cheaper prices
Speaking of Macbook Airs, does it throttle too when unplugged? I've seen a lot of editors and modellers on youtube use it and it looks pretty solid.
The ones with Apple Silicon tend to not do so. The Intel Macs throttle pretty much all the time due to inadequate cooling

Yeah, what's frustrating is that adding a world with literally nothing in it is impossible due to "development effort", when it'll take like two seconds for someone with read/write perms to drag in a world folder. Maybe I'm not seeing the full picture or something, but it is definitely pretty annoying.
The server, for some reason, won't load them. It would be nice if we could get Scissors to do that instead of relying on terrible plugins to do everything.
I'd prefer if you attempted to pr this to paper first because this is out of Scissors scope
