Spectator mode is not safe for OPs. It has been suggested multiple times before, so I've had to copy this list about 4 times now:
Spectator mode...- has a teleportation feature that overrides /tptoggle
- allows you to set your flying speed high enough to lag the server without using mods or /speed
- causes console spam if you use a teleport command while spectating someone
- makes you invisible to admins who aren't in spectator mode themselves
- allows you to see admins who are using spectator mode to watch OPs
- puts you into a death loop if your flying is disabled
-
Object. Warps only use a tiny amount of space and there are no performance penalties associated with having too many of them. Limiting them also doesn't solve the problems you are mentioning because 10 slurs is not really better than 100.

The "Allow users to edit their own polls" permission does in fact exist, but it does not work exactly the same as on ProBoards. On ProBoards, editing your poll would reset the votes. While this was annoying, it importantly prevented users from simply switching the options around to make it seem like the option they wanted won once there were enough votes.

As I said in my post above, I would definitely be in favor of adding a way to configure end gateways without requiring /setblock. Since the use case wasn't actually mentioned in this thread: end gateways can be used to teleport players who walk into them to fixed destination coordinates, essentially allowing you to create warp zones.

@DragonSlayer2189#2175 Done, but Fionn has not created an activity log himself.
Edit: I have added Fionn's new activity log as well now.

@wild1145#2180 There is no such thing as a "command book" other than it being a regular book that just happens to contain a command.

The setup we had before the deletion was that I had access to banappeals@totalfreedom.me and would create a thread whenever an appeal was sent to that address.
In my opinion, allowing banned users to create posts directly defeats the purpose of a ban, namely that they can no longer use the platform. Additionally, if a user insisted on breaking the forum posting guidelines in their appeal, there would be no logical next step because they are already banned.

Please do not add polls to admin applications. I've removed the one from this thread.
-
As stated in the previous thread linked above, you can unfortunately not re-appeal this ban yet.
-
From a purely technical point of view, you do not need to be an admin on the freedom server to manage the machine it is running on. The only reason you would want to be an admin is that the current rank system is not designed for the position you are in. That is why I think it would be better to change the rank system so that you can be formally recognized as a staff member without getting extra permissions ingame. For now, under our current rank system, I have to object.

@simplynick#1985 Unfortunately, the original applications as well as the votes from the old forum were lost.
-
I object. Minecraft does not support streaming arbitrary audio, so OpenAudioMc requires opening a browser tab. At that point, it is much easier to do it through Discord.

I've applied the suggested colors, let me know if any more adjustments need to be made.

@lyicx#1898 it was doing okay for the stream although needed some tweeks to OBS (thanks to help from @Reperak, i've managed to adjust it perfectly for a 480p stream thats stable.)
I think this means you've already got it sorted out, but it is much better to stream in a lower quality than to force a quality that your internet connection cannot handle. This is why your stream looked extremely blocky.

[2020-11-26] Added more explanation to the Indefinite Ban Request Policy.
[2020-11-27] Approved "Limit indefinite ban requests to only Admins".
[2021-04-06] Cleaned up the Indefinite Ban Request Template.
[2021-05-07] Approved "Suggestion about indefinite ban self-requests".
[2021-07-09] Denied "Change the way self-requested permban appeals are handled".
[2021-08-14] Approved "Remove the question about client modifications for day bans".
[2021-08-16] Fixed "Link to ban appeal by email is broken".
[2021-11-03] As of this date, I am no longer the Ban Manager because I have taken the ownership of the freedom server. This log is relatively empty because I have decided not to create a separate entry for each indefinite ban request and ban appeal. Of course, if you think that I am not responding to threads in a timely manner, please let me know. You can find all threads that fall under my responsibility here:
https://forum.totalfreedom.me/t/indefinite-ban-requests
https://forum.totalfreedom.me/…-admin-suspension-appealsNote: activities such as locking and moving threads are part of my status as Forum Admin and not as Ban Manager.

Approved. The only modification is the addition of "for admins" in the policy.

@fssp#1811 We don't need to toggle the inspector, we need to perform lookups. We can even reuse the code for the logstick to perform a lookup when it is used.

As I've stated in another thread, I do not believe it is a good idea to allow OPs to create indefinite ban requests directly because OPs do not have access to all the tools for gathering evidence. Rather, as Elmon says, I think it is better for them to create a normal player report and have an admin create an indefinite ban request based on that report when appropriate.
