1. Minecraft name: DragonSlayer2189
2. Discord username and discriminator (username#discriminator) (if any):
DragonSlayer2189#3873
3. Approximate date of the ~indefinite~ forum ban:
The FSR was made on the 29th of November, and was approved on the 2nd of December
4. Reason for your ~indefinite~ forum ban (it should be stated when you try to join the server, do not lie, we can check; if one is not stated, state why you think you were banned)
Impersonation
Full story:
Quote! Essentially, I was watching one of Lyicx's streams, and he had put me in timeout (a thing you can do as a mod of any YouTube chat where the person who is in timeout can't send messages and stuff for a while), so as a joke, I decided to log into YouTube from one of my other emails, since I had never logged in from the email I chose, I had to make a new account and pick a channel name, and as a joke, I thought it would be funny to name the account Nathaniel428, I did that, went back to lyicx's streams had a few laughs, and then decided to go a bit further with the bit, choosing to change the name of my alt, The_W4tch3r or Mythic_Emma, to Nathaniel428, and then under the same email I made the YouTube account with, I also made a forum account, posted a joke thread thing in the introductions board and then responded a bit to things on there, and then went to bed. The following morning, I woke up and checked my phone, to find a bunch of discord messages saying that they were disappointed in me, and as such I was very confused, so I checked the forum and found I was suspended and that a sanction request was made.
! You see, I pride myself on being very knowledgeable about most of the going-ons in the server, I know most of the policies and also know about other things related to behind the scenes server stuff. But y'know lots of times, you forget the little details in things, and as some who does have many issues remembering those little things (stupid ADHD and shit), I end up forgetting the minor things very quickly. As such, I honestly had no fucking clue that Impersonation was a thing that could get me suspended at all, let alone an instant indefinite suspension, it's a similar case with the forums, I genuinely didn't know about the rule, as it is not in the main part of the text and is only a little small side note near the very bottom of the thread.TL;DR I did it as a joke, and had no clue/forgot that it was a rule at all
5. Do you agree to follow our server rules, the rules in place on the forum, and all the conditions stated above?
Yeah, I've also taken the liberty of rereading over all of the conduct policy and forum posting guidelines

As I had stated on the deleted forum, this was not a thing on ProBoards. Rather, restricted registration was enabled, which means all accounts had to be manually approved by a forum staff member before being able to participate in threads and polls.
As for the suggestion, there is no way to configure this with the extension we are currently using for polls.

The charter rank was, as you state, for admins who were there at the very beginning, so it is limited to a very specific group of people that can never increase or decrease in size. You are specifically promoting it as a solution for bogus reinstatements, but I don't see any reason why a charter would be more likely to submit a reinstatement than any other former admin.

@jjjaguar2000#2747 That doesn't stop us from creating something like discord.totalfreedom.me because we can always change what it points to.
-
@jjjaguar2000#2743 Now that you mention it, we should have done this a long time ago and I am wondering why nobody suggested it before.
-
The main problem is that the Discord server is not clearly linked from this forum. Flarum does not provide a natural way to do that either, unless we install yet another extension.
-
This reinstatement has been reverted per https://forum.totalfreedom.me/…oles-indefinte-suspension.

@videogamesm12#2463 Do you have any experience with Linux? If so, I recommend using a Linux live USB as suggested by Reperak. If not, you can try the GUI version for Windows, but that one is bit bloated compared to the Linux version.

The consensus is clear. You may appeal again in 30 days.
-
What exactly do you want to move to the scoreboard? There is not enough space on the scoreboard to display entire chat messages.
-
This is a duplicate of https://forum.totalfreedom.me/d/145-allow-dropping-items. Please add any further comments to that thread instead.

I believe Wild has not yet put through all of his plans for the development process. I completely agree that it could have been more organized under Seth, but Wild has already made improvements to this.
-
You should probably not be trying to copy the files normally at all and use ddrescue to make sure that read errors are detected properly.
-
This appeal needs more votes. Note that this is for the forum only: he is not currently on the indefinite ban list.
-
I was waiting for a few more votes, but since the thread has dropped so far now, you have been unbanned.

@zeseryu#2382 The constant T is for the category active, not regular (see the last line of the quote). With T set to 30 minutes, you only need 13 minutes per week to be considered regular.

@Miwojedk#2377
@elmon#2379
@zeseryu#2380QuoteDisplay MoreT - Time played after someone is considered active on a particular week t1, t2, t3 - Time played that week
Activity index takes into account last 3 weeks.
Activity for a single week is calculated using A(t) = (1 / (pi/2 * (t/T) + 1)). A(t) is based on function f(x) = 1 / (x + 1), which has property f(0) = 1, decreasing from there, but not in a straight line. You can see the function plotted here https[]()://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=1+%2F+(x%2B1)+from+-1+to+2
To fine tune the curve pi/2 is used since it felt like a good curve.
Activity index A is calculated by using the formula: A = 5 - 5 * [A(t1) + A(t2) + A(t3)] / 3
Plot for A and limits https[]()://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=plot+y+%3D+5+-+5+*+(1+%2F+(pi%2F2+*+x%2B1))+and+y+%3D1+and+y+%3D+2+and+y+%3D+3+and+y+%3D+3.75+from+-0.5+to+3
New Limits for A would thus be < 1: Inactive > 1: Irregular > 2: Regular > 3: Active > 3.75: Very Active
https://plan-player-analytics.…tators/ActivityIndex.html
We have T set to 30 minutes.

@DragonSlayer2189#2354 1) see above
Apologies, that one is from the previous times I copied the list.
Quote@DragonSlayer2189#2354 2) theres actually a gamerule you can set so that spectators can't load chunks at all
You are correct, but then admins won't be able to load chunks in spectator mode either.
Quote@DragonSlayer2189#2354 6) just do /fly, you respawn at like y=50 i think
That depends entirely on the spawnpoint. Back when I had a very slow computer, it could take multiple seconds for the game to become responsive again after pressing the respawn button. The issue is that you fall straight through the spawn into the void while that is happening.

Managing votes outside of the forum creates a lot of work because we need to verify that each voter is actually a member of the forum, or an admin if the poll is in an admin board. What Seth did was not a poll but a public survey.
