@wild1145#7177 The options here are, everyone goes back to using play.totalfreedom.me as a primary way to connect and it connects you to the last server on the network you were connected to, if that's down you get bounced back to a hub server.

I vouch for this option because it meets both parties in the middle and can continue to be used once the subdomains are removed completely.

As I see it, the application was clearly not intended to be serious, which means the only offense was putting the thread in the wrong section, which is a warning at most.

//chunk selects a 16*16*256 area at once. The most obvious use for it is to immediately clear out a large amount of space with //set air.

However, a command should not be blocked just because it can be used in bad ways: we would have to block the entirety of WorldEdit because it can be used to grief.

wild1145 Can you explain what technical debt you would incur by implementing it the suggested way? I understand that the idea is that players will never find themselves unable to connect to the network, but I don't see a reason why you can't fall back to the hub if and only if the target server is down. It can even be set up in such a way that adding a server to the Bungee automatically enables joining it directly through a subdomain.

The main concern I have with Pixelmon is the same as with Factions, namely that the server type is way too common by itself. I would be very interested in seeing a unique twist, but someone should probably work out that twist before we approve the suggestion.

To clarify, I vouch under the strict condition that the server is more than just stock Pixelmon.

@Miwojedk#6851 I have some doubts that the current logging system is adequate to roll back and find the creator of such a machine. It obviously stretches the rollback capabilities to its limits; I would like to see some testing done on that first.

@simplynick#6835 Lighting glitches can occur both client-side and server-side. In this case, the issue is very likely server-side because restarting the client did not fix it for UnderTails.

It is not possible to prevent players from copying items because you can use a hacked client to do it even if /invsee doesn't allow you to. Disabling it in /invsee does make it less convenient.

Don't run cron manually. It's a Linux service that automatically starts on boot. That's why /var/run/crond.pid exists after you reboot and why jobs work if you don't run the command at all. The correct way to restart cron after a hang is sudo service cron restart.

Also, /var/run/crond.pid existing is a good thing if cron is running, even if it is hanging. The website you found telling you to delete that file was talking about the situation where cron is not running at all.

I am going to object because while I am not opposed to them per se, I don't think we should incorporate drugs into our official image. I would vouch for a plugin that has the same features but calls them differently. This plugin is also not open source.
