I actually want to make the even stronger statement that I think we should either have a limitation on the length or have this disabled by default. I really believe that such a cluttered chat can contribute to new players instantly leaving again.

Rewritten to include the suggestion posted at https://forum.totalfreedom.me/…efinite-ban-self-requests.

    Old policy for reference:

The bottom line is that if Ubiquiti is not using any proprietary protocols to communicate between its devices, you can get anything to work with it with a sufficient amount of tinkering.

We can definitely enable this, but I'm not sure if we can do it without disabling block updates for all plants. That means placing a plant on a grass block and then breaking the grass block will no longer automatically break the plant.

@DragonSlayer2189#16580 If a person knows that they are subject to rapid mental health swings, I think it would be better both for us and for them to keep them off the server consistently for a longer period of time rather than constantly ban and unban them. However, I am not against getting rid of the formal limitation and simply focusing on the justification the player gives.

Incorporating this requires quite a lot of rewriting, so I am posting it here before making it official:

@wild1145#16407 We completely disabled file attachments in ProBoards in July 2019 and did not get any complaints. I would suggest doing that in WoltLab as well since it will save you a lot of disk space over time. It also bypasses the issue of old posts breaking because attachments were purged.

@wild1145#16459 The dashboard is designed to show the latest announcements or other things that I want the community to know about. It's not intended to be customized and that is by design. The dashboard is only shown if you go to the forums for the first time, or if you then click back to the dashboard. It shouldn't be something that ends up really getting in the way once you start using the forum.

Is the dashboard not just the main page of the forum? We've historically always had that set to either the list of boards or the list of recently updated threads. If you want to see a website, you should go to the website and not to the forum.
