@Erin#18709 I think you are confused about TNT. You can't make a chain reaction with entity damage. You need world damage for that, which is not being suggested.

As you've noticed, this is not the right tool for the job. What you're looking for is Electron, which includes Node.js.

Every service I know of that uses TOTP (the 6-digit codes) strongly urges you to save backup codes for the exact situation that you lose your 2FA device. Did you not do anything with those?

Even though VulnerabilityPatcher is much better than "just block the feature", you are correct that it still outright clears a lot of things instead of selectively removing the danger that it has detected. There is definitely improvement possible in that area.

I'm sure we could go on for a while longer about how this exactly happened, but the consensus is clear. You may appeal again in 30 days.

Unbanned.

Lava damage can be enabled by admins using /toggle lavadmg. I can't give you any reason why would ever need to be disabled, though. This toggle was added in 2011, so it's very possible that it's just a relic we never got rid of.
I would like to see some testing done on whether TNT causes lag when it explodes without breaking blocks. If it does not cause lag, it should be enabled by our freedom philosophy, even if you cannot immediately think of use cases. The toggle for it is /toggle explosives.
The firework limitation is obviously because of particle lag. If there is a way to directly limit the amount of particles, that would be the best solution, but I don't know of any. Firework explosions can be enabled with /toggle firework.

@Fleek#18691 Is there a place where we can track this issue?

Approved as a warning. Normally I would send the warning over PM, but since we do not have PMs on this forum, I will do it here.
Miasmus, although you recognize that the thread got out of hand, it is much more important to recognize that drama could have been prevented by making use of the appropriate channels. For reporting admins, this is privately messaging an Admin Officer and providing evidence. It is also important to separate serious and non-serious threads, since your actions here caused confusion. If a similar situation occurs again, the forum sanctions may be more severe.

@Hockeyfan360#18454 The problem is not that it's not entirely legal, but that they can detect it and ban our entire forum for violating the Terms of Service, which would put us in a far worse situation than we are in right now.

@iVacon#18490 You do not need to change your IP address, it is just a precaution some people like to take. For example, you generally cannot protect yourself from DDoS attacks on residential ISPs.

- Bet on a duel (Duel someone using a command, and the winner of the duel wins it. Maybe they are only allowed an inventory which they can predefine before the battle. Maybe even have presets for thoses.)
- Lottery every X minutes in chat, where players can buy tickets to participate, and the winner wins it all.
I want to note that these things are very tightly regulated in a lot of countries, even with fictional currencies and especially for minors. This is more relevant than it was in the past because we are now backed by an actual company.
@lyicx#18477 We do need to be a bit careful with when we do this: if the issue isn't fully solved yet, the imbalance will come right back.
@UnderTails#18480 It's still on the backlog. We don't have nearly enough developers to actually work on everything that is being suggested.

Neutral. This is unfortunately not as good as it sounds. The way it works is that Minecraft (mostly) supports the Unicode standard, which has some emojis built in. However, there is no one-to-one correspondence between Discord and Unicode, and we cannot support Discord's custom emojis at all without a resource pack. In other words, we can translate some of them, but it will be less than half.

@Miasmus#18310 /lockwarp - use to lock a warp into one place, only admins/the player who used it can change the warp after this is enabled (doesn't work for generic things such as pvp)
We actually already approved making this apply to all warps by default, it has just been stuck on the to-do list:

Your original thread (https://forum.totalfreedom.me/d/1687-katsuo-ban-appeal) was correct; you were indefinitely banned under the name MarxCastle: https://forum.totalfreedom.me/…te-ban-request-marxcastle.
I am going to lock this thread in favor of your earlier one.

We obviously need to look into the WorldEdit issue again if the permissions are indeed still broken. I'm not sure about /relog, because that command would only be useful when there is a bug, in which case we should be fixing that bug.

@Erin#18401 Yes, I'm just saying that the need for more shop items does not mean that every feature you can come up with is automatically suitable for the shop.
-
-
When you talk about adding so many shop items, a question comes up: when is something suitable to be a shop item and when should it just be available to everyone? New features are of course a good thing, and some features only make sense as shop items, but I am wary of putting a whole bunch of things behind a paywall just because we can.

@Xen#18395 At the moment, only Finest, Wild, and I have the technical ability to do that. I would have done it already, but I simply do not know what Wild wants it to look like.
