If the suggestion is to change just the biome and keep the terrain superflat, I don't really see the point because the changes are rather subtle, and if you're particularly annoyed by them, there is //setbiome.

On the other hand, if the suggestion is to have actual terrain generation for these biomes, that is interesting, but also very awful to implement because of the way seeds and world generation work in Minecraft.

There are diverging opinions here, but there is no majority for an unban. Since Erin's suggestion did not get support here, I will leave it at a simple denial. You may appeal again in 30 days.

I'm sure that people would be willing to install mods if the event is something that can absolutely not be done with plugins, for example holding a space race with Galacticraft. If it can be done with plugins, though, it's a lot less hassle for the participants.

Maybe the title is a bit clickbaity, but if you have a VPS that costs less than $25/month, it's most likely not wrong.

You might know that platforms like AWS and Google Cloud have a free tier for their cloud services. You might also know that signing up for it is not worth it at all because you really don't get that much, and if you accidentally go beyond the free tier limits, you'll suddenly start racking up costs. Oracle apparently wants to challenge that, because they offer the following configuration for free, forever:

    Quote

    CPU: 4x Ampere Altra ARMv8.2-A @ 3.00GHz
    RAM: 24GB DDR4 ECC
    Storage: 200GB NVMe SSD
    Network: 1Gbit/s, 10TB bandwidth/month
    IPs: 2 IPv4, 2x /56 IPv6
Other: running 24/7, root access, VNC, choice from 23 locations

I've been testing it out for myself, and I can confirm that these specs are actually what they look like. You can't tell that it's an ARM CPU from the performance. I've also been trying to find the hidden gotchas of this deal, but it looks like there really aren't any. They've even made it so that your account can't get billed by default, so you can never accidentally go beyond the limits.

This is really a lot of suggestions, and they're not all small ones either. In any case, auctions have already been approved, and I believe that also covers trading.

@'Reperak' They don't have a reason to because it works fine when you don't stress it. Mojang's response to these kinds of exploits is "That's unsupported behavior, just don't do it".

Apparently I am in the minority, but I think having Master Builder purely as a recognition of skill detaches it from the community too much. If it's just a recognition of skill, then a player who has never joined our server can create a thread on the forum with amazing builds, get Master Builder, and then disappear again forever. Why would we want to have a TotalFreedom Master Builder rank if it has nothing to do with TotalFreedom?

The main reason that the vanilla /say is currently overriden is that it allows you to use a feature called target selectors. A simple /say @e will spam the chat to no end.

You were indeed banned from the hub by Ivan approximately 5.5 months ago for racism. Since this ban was not a mistake, please create a formal appeal if you want it to be removed.

lyicx To clear this up, an appeal for a 24-hour ban is not supposed to be a voting process, and it doesn't say anywhere that it is. It's just an opportunity for an admin (not necessarily the banning admin) to reconsider the situation and decide if the player should be given the benefit of the doubt or not. To everyone, feel free to create a thread if this needs more clarification.

It's not really possible to make a proper decision on this because we keep flip-flopping on what the Master Builder rank is supposed to be. If a Master Builder is someone who contributes to building projects within this community, then obviously they actually need to contribute. If the rank is just an acknowledgement of your building skills, then it doesn't make sense to take it away.

Although Video has gone through great pains to uncover the information he has, the story becomes quite obvious when looking at the original request (not accessible to most people at the moment): your username was part of a long list of names used by the serial rulebreaker Despairingly. It seems that you were caught in the crossfire because Robin, who handled the request, did not check whether any of the names belonged to actual players. Unbanned.

The server failed to read the plugin jar. This should be fixed by a simple server restart.
