I think it’s completely acceptable because p2w servers are a malicious use of Minecraft to exploit kids for a ton of money. They deserve to have their economy destroyed.

I’ve been playing since 2013 and I didn’t know it was possible to have this much fun in a Minecraft server and having The Imperium has made this server the time of my life.

apart from all the issues we face currently this server is incredible and I’ve never found anywhere else like it.

I think the hub server is only going to do damage to our player base and turn away new players, which is why I oppose it.

im glad that the new ip to the freeop works or I would be a ton angrier, but I think this is going to turn off returning players if they randomly type the ip and think we’ve just become a generic server.

and hub based servers that aren’t the 5 or 6 super servers are generally despised in the mc community, idk this is just my personal experiences

but I don’t think it should be removed I think it should be implemented in the same way as the old hub, optional to join from the main server instead of the hub being the main server

happy to see freedom.play.totalfreedom.me is working but I think the hub is gonna turn off new players and give returning old players a bad taste in their mouth

I just generally want to say coreprotect doesn’t work

if something is griefed 90% of the time it won’t log it on coreprotect, and the other 10% it’ll do some weird shit and make a mess, remove all the nbt and do horrible stuff to your build

Today it’s not really clear what happened, but I assume assume an admin did a global rollback, and builds and things all around the server with destroyed.

The imperium base was very badly destroyed and every grief from the past week combined with coreprotects dysfunctionalness puts us into probably a few weeks of reconstruction.

I just want to inform all the admins, coreprotect doesn’t work and that it’s not fit to be used, it’s completely unstable, inconsistent, dysfunctional, and has no capability of dealing with griefs and only makes them worse. That’s all I want to say.

I’m so damn tired of fixing griefs and dealing with all the shit coreprotect causes, it’s been adding a new stress to my life for a few months now.

after the events of today I’m gonna take a break from the server for a few days to clear my head.

I assumed this was my wifi, I really have been experiencing some weird lag and there’s always a chat delay and a second or two before my command goes through, also a bunch of random rubber banding all the time.

I’m not really proposing anything in this post but I want to say, right now the server does not have enough admins.

for about the 8th day in a row, this morning around 8 AM EST, hammelhopfan has come on and done intense damage to builds all over the server, trollpotted, wrote toxic things in chat and caused chaos, while the online players and mbs stood there helplessly.

it seems every time hammelhopfan or another major active griefer comes on, there seem to be no admins, and nothing to stop him from doing what he does best, being a spawn of Satan.

what the main problem is not that there are no admins, but that no admins seem to be on from 3AM-10AM EST every day, leaving the server free to be controlled by people like hammel.

this wouldn’t be that big of a deal if coreprotect worked, and or if we had nbt paste to fix griefs properly on our own, so it leaves the online players scrambling around freaking out and desperately pinging admins to help save their builds before irreversible damage is done.

What we need is to

1. Accept more people as admin
2. Make a more effective way of getting admins aware that there is someone like hammelhopfan online, improved report system
3. Get more admins that will be able to be online at these critical hours
   so yeah we need something done about this

So for a couple months now griefs have not been fixed properly due to the issues with coreprotect and gtfo doesn’t work either, this is all fine we save our builds and paste their fixed versions.
But the big problem is nbt paste is still not enabled for OPs, and every time I fix a grief I have to manually replace every sign, banner, head, etc. It’s super annoying and super time consuming and frustrating and we just really deserve this.

it’s not even like nbt paste caused any issues more than we’re dealing with now there are many more ways of causing and nbt overflow and more effective ways.

So can we all agree it’s time to reenable nbt paste?
