Ok, here is my idea

some admins like lyicx, video are fine with being pinged, but others will rip you limb from limb for it.

what if we added a role that admins can opt into or not that lets people ping them

so if someone needs help in game they can ping the role and get help instead of trying to ping people individually scared of being murdered for it.

this would help since in the past few days we seem to have lost a lot of admins, and people are having problems while there are no admins on, and it would help everyone out.

so yeah

like we should have a warning or 2 before a ban.

the ToS doesnt obligate you to ban people immediately, it just needs to be not allowed.

meaning we should make there warnings first atleast.

like i could legit get anyone in the discord banned for me advertising with incredibly easily forged evidence, and simple lack of context.

like if we’re gonna enforce a rule it shouldn’t be unjustly strict that people have to go through a strenuous appeal process trying to prove they didn’t do something that was not even proven they did in the first place.

there was not a millisecond of thought when i got banned if it was a correct decision or not, it was instantaneous.

and i also want to point out following that rule in the TOS doesn’t obligate us to hand out bans, you can give warnings and other punishments first.

it’s just a stupid situation i want nobody to have to go through again

for the "moment" (past 8 months) mass griefs are really horrible because they do lasting damage that people have to fix by hand, and i think if an admin judges a grief to be super damaging it should be a mass grief and a month ban instead of a day.

this wouldn’t matter at all if coreprotect could fix the friggin build

it’s a bug that’s being worked on

i don’t know personally if it will ever be fixed though because it started in august and we’ve been suffering the affects of it since then

i hope it gets fixed eventually but it’s not looking good.

so today a griefer named mxchxrn something came on and griefed a lot of stuff, like a LOT of stuff.

and he was banned after a half our or so, and coreprotect promptly fucked all the builds like usual.

ThePyroMan had every one of his builds destroyed and i had to do an hour of repairs on a city.

I think its utterly ridiculous someone can come on and commit atrocities like this and put in so much effort in destroying people’s work, and come back the next day (24 hours later) with no consequences, able to repeat it.

what i think we should do is that if the admin who finds the grief and bans the griefer judges it to be a mass grief, it’s a 2 week ban, or even a month ban.

a 24 hour ban is just a ridiculously short amount of time for weeks of work lost, and sends no message to the griefer.

so yeah.
