    In my eyes a bypass is knowingly joining the server despite knowing you should be banned.


    While yes I agree with Alco that uvb probably should’ve checked the forums I can understand why he assumed that his appeal was approved - I’ve done it before without checking the forums. It was an oversight on his part and in my opinion it shouldn’t be treated as a ban bypass considering he genuinely seemed to think he’d been unbanned when he joined. I think it should be treated as a mistake and shouldn’t impact him negatively at all.

    I don’t think uvb should be held responsible for an error in the longban list. He saw he was unbanned and so joined the server.

    His appeal wasn't approved, so he shouldn't of continued to play upon realizing his appeal wasn't approved or should of at least asked someone for confirmation that his ban was lifted if he was unsure. I lift the bans after the appeal is approved to prevent such incidents from happening, but yes it wasn't entirely his fault but still, he should of checked his appeal before continuing to play.

    I’d honestly say that having more senior admins would be better for the server. I think having more people earn the rank - and I do mean earn it - would look good on the admin team and the server as a whole. I don’t see why the senior window shouldn’t be open full time, and I don’t think your statement about the server having a problem with titles and power is a fair assessment at all.

    Questioning and objecting to a ban isn’t against server rules. While Vi’s ban was a reason I resigned it certainly wasn’t the only one - as I said on the thread I was going through a lot and I stated that on the discord too at the time. I don’t think asking for my role to be removed should be counted as ragequitting but that isn’t up to me.


    Admins who resign (if it isn’t to avoid punishment and doesn’t involve breaking policy) should never be treated the same as admins who have been suspended in my opinion.

    Like I said in the thread the week of my reinstatement was absolute hell and I needed time to get through it

    The reason for my resignation was a lot of personal issues going on at the time that built up, and I just needed a break from being admin. I feel that these issues have been resolved and I'm ready to be admin again. No thread was posted but I requested removal in the discord.


    I meet the 3 hours in past 7 days activity requirement for an admin that has resigned in the last 30 days.
