enchy get punished for malicious exploiting.

Most likely an indefinite ban if its particularly malicious. Many people got banned a long time ago for this kind of thing.

@'Ryan' We check passwords against HaveIBeenPwned (There's a secure way of doing it, I am rubbish at explaining the details but in short it's handled in the browser and we never see your password) which will force you to change the password if your password shows up in a breach, that check happens on every login.

I am assuming this secure way involves hashing.

The problem is that when you call someone or something this word, it can be insulting to both the target and to some mentally ill. The word should not be used unless necessary IMO.

Ideally everyone in society would understand nuance in language, but that is unfortunately not the case.

I would discourage its use but not outright ban it.

    2. Are you using the same forum & Minecraft account that you used when you were a staff member in the past?
      Yes
    3. What rank were you (Admin, Senior Admin) and the approx dates you were a staff member:
Senior Admin, I do not remember the dates.
    4. Why were you removed from your staff position? (Answer one below and exclude the rest)
      a. For long term inactivity? (Yes or No) If Yes, did you post an inactivity notice or did you leave without notice - please explain if no notice was left.
Yes. I left without notice due to a combination of IRL problems, stress from not meeting the activity requirement, and forgetting to post a notice.
    5. If you are reinstated, how often will you be able to do staff duties?
Mostly every day, except possibly weekends.
    6. Have you reviewed the server rules and banning protocols to ensure you're up to speed on any changes that might have occurred since your return from inactivity?
      Yes.
    7. Do you have a family member that's been on the perm ban list within the past 60 days? If yes, your request will be denied.
      No.

I thought of something that I am not sure has ever been done in Minecraft or not... IPMI management in Minecraft. Basically, using a mod like OpenComputers to interface with the BMC on a motherboard with such equipped. Having your Minecraft world react to your CPU temperature might be kinda interesting.

You could also then shutdown the system from Minecraft too.

Update: The parts came today and the Enthoo 719 is truly a great case that is a perfect match for this workstation motherboard. I managed to get it perfectly aligned and properly screwed in. To do it I needed to move a standoff because the board standoff layout is like a mix of ATX and server. The case supports both so it was a very easy fix.

Also, installing an SP3 socket CPU for the first time was an interesting experience. Its a bit different than other sockets I have used.
