  • Re-enable lava, tnt, and firework damage.

    @Tizz#18758 toggling them off wouldn't stop the particles as theres no way to kill/stop those as far as i know. as such we put a bunch of limitations on it so that way people don't make fireworks which last for like 10 solid minutes (which is entirely possible, and quite easy to do) and then use them to lag the server/client

  • Master Builder Applications

    In order to be considered for the Master Builder rank, you must fill out the following form, and post your responses in a new thread in the Server Builds & Maps category.


    1) Your current Minecraft name (IGN):


    3) Do you have a discord account? If yes, post your username#discriminator here.


    2) How often you plan to be active as a MB on Total Freedom? (Daily, once a week etc.)


    3) Will you help contribute to building projects when requested by the Executive Creative Designer (ECD)?:


    4) What type of building skill(s) do you currently possess (terraforming, redstone, interior, exterior):


    5) Provide several screenshots with 3+ of your own builds, without any form of shaders:


    6) If there was one thing that you would say you could improve on within your builds, what would it be?


    7) (Optional) Do you do any other form of creative work (e.g. drawing, animation, video design, etc.)


    8) (Optional) If any players can vouch or provide further evidence for you being the builder behind your builds, please list their names:


    Following the application submission, any players may vote (vouch, neutral, or objection) on whether the applicant should be accepted. The application will be reviewed and a decision will be made no later than two weeks after it is submitted. An application may be decided more quickly if the votes heavily lean to one side. If an applicant is denied, they may submit another application following a 1 month waiting period.

  • Master Builder Policy (5/25/2021)

    This policy outlines a set of guidelines that all Master Builders must follow, and what may happen if a Master Builder breaks one of these rules. For more info on what a Master Builder actually is, see here


    Category 1 - Master Builders will be removed permanently (without the chance to reinstate) if they commit any of the following offenses:
    a. Griefing the Master Builder World.
    b. Permbanned for griefing .
    c. Repeated removals from Master Builder for lesser infractions.
    d. Framing, or attempting to frame, another Master Builder or Player for any offenses from this policy, or the conduct policy.
    e. Uploading malicious/dangerous schematic files to the httpd page. (Always check files before you upload them, esspecially if they are from someone else)


    Category 2 - Master Builders will be temporarily removed if they commit any of the following offenses, If a Master Builder is removed for one of these reasons, they can reinstate after 1 month:
    a. Griefing-related offenses that don't result in permban.
    b. Creating builds which could be seen as offensive to others (e.g. swasticas, builds encouraging racisicm, homophobia, etc.)
    c. Being permbanned for a non-griefing related reason. This rule can also be applied if an MB is found to have broken any rule in Category 2 of the conduct policy. (In this case, if a Master Builder wishes to reinstate they must wait 1 month after their ban is over, or after their perm ban appeal is approved)


    Notes:

    • All accusations against Master Builders will be investigated by the ECD.
    • If it is discovered that a Master Builder was removed for a rule violation they did not commit, the removal will be reversed.
    • The infractions listed here only outline what is guaranteed to warrant the removal of a Master Builder, and the ECD is free to remove Master Builders as they see fit (for example, if a Master Builder is not actively contributing to team projects, is inactive, isn't able to work well with the team, etc.).
    • Master Builders who are removed permanently can only reinstate if they are pardoned by the acting ECD, who will clarify that they have pardoned the removed MB on their reinstatement thread.

    @Miasmus#18322 both admins and mbs can upload, but, do to the fact that some schematics can be potentially malicious i would rather not give this ability to ops on the server, however, if an op wants a schem uploaded to the server, feel free to ask an admin to do so, and then it will likely be added

    @Hockeyfan360#18454 it would not comply with probords TOS iirc, but in the past, i made a bot which would scape all of a fourm users posts and like them (never actually got the like bit of it to work before abandoning the project due to it not being compliant with TOS, but all of the rest of it worked) i could, in theory modify the script to get the text from the post and then make a large sql database but with there being 68,101 posts, and god knows how many replies on each of those posts, i don't think i have the storage capacity for something like that

  • Master Builder Information

    What is a Master Builder?

    The title of Master Builder is reserved for the accomplished builders of the TotalFreedom community. These players are ones who have shown a knack for building or just general creativity within minecraft, and each of the Master Builders (more commonly referred to as MBs) are skilled in many different ways. While some MBs may be good at making small villages or large cities, others may be more skilled at complex redstone contraptions, or at terraforming large mountains and valleys. But, no matter what a MB may be skilled in, they are a cog in the part of a larger machine, that being, the MB team.

    What does the MB team do?

    The main purpose of the MB team is to help assist the Executive Creative Designer (or ECD) in various build projects which all go to help benefit the server. In fact, you may have even seen some of the MB team's work and may not of known who was behind it, but large scale build projects such as the TotalFreedom hub world, are all done by this team of MBs. But, while the MBs do sometimes all come together in order to work on large projects such as the hub, that's not to say that they are not allowed to work on their own private projects. In fact, smaller scale projects are actively encouraged, as they can help MBs improve their own skills, and allow them to build whatever they want, and to help further encourage MBs to do these personal project, they have access to showcase their builds, without any worry of griefing or anything of the sort, through the Master Builder World. But that's not all, as MBs also have ability to upload schematics to the server through the httpd page, allowing them to work on their own personal projects wherever and whenever they wish to, since they can then upload the schematic to the server and paste it in!

    How can someone become a MB?

    Anyone can become a Master Builder by applying on the forums, and the format for this application can be found here. The MB team will gladly welcome new members as long as you show some promise, and many of the Master Builders are willing to assist other players in helping improve their skills, so feel free to talk to any Master Builder about your builds, and I am sure that many of them will be glad to help!
