Honestly I think that for most part its fine, however its the backend stuff that kinda annoys me. and im sure @"videogamesm12"#4 would love to rant about the server stuff with files, but i don't have access to any of that so i have no clue. But stuff like keeping the teams things ultra private, to the point where if you reveal some of it, you could be suspended from your executive role, or having to go through and talk to atlas media people who you have no information about, and all that kind of stuff, is where i really dislike how corperate things are. For the average person though, I don't think this is too big of a problem

As far as I'm aware the main reason why this was disabled in the first place was to prevent the spread and easy access of crash items, unless we can fix that somehow, I'd have to object

@'kanst' this is what we already had back in like early to mid 2020, and was also the thing which i was saying NOT to do, i hated all that complicated shit, i just want a simple barebones smp, that way we can have something which the developers dont have to worry about, otherwise this very suggestion isn't going to happen til mid to late 2021

personally, and I know that this might be a bit controversal, but I think I will vouch. You see, coming from the perspective of someone who has been indefinitely banned a few times in the past, I know that, when I was banned, I too had a hard time with the guilt of what I did, I had fucked up. Majorly. But I acknowledged that I did indeed do something wrong, did not fight the ban, and took a break for a while, and I remember during that time, I couldn't stop thinking about the guilt, or about how bad i had felt for betraying the trust of seth, the owner at the time. but even then I waited, I believe that I waited about a month before I even made an attempt to come back, and to this day I still try to hold that feeling close to me whenever i vote on these things, as I feel it gives me some better insight into how the person appeal likely feels regarding what they have done. As such, I can sympathize at least a little bit here, and am willing to give you another chance. Just don't do anything similar again

TL;DR: I was also indef banned at one point and felt very similarly about my circumstances when that happened, so i can sympathize a bit, vouch

@'Panther' personally i don't think it really needs to be, in my eyes the point of the smp would not be to get more players but to retain pre-existing ones, the freeop server is our main selling point, but offten (esspecially as of late) it is always very boring because when there isn't many players online theres nothing for you to do, and thus thats when we lose most of our players, however, with an smp, even if there aren't many players on any of the servers, you could go chill and do stuff in the smp, and then could easily swap back over to freedom-01, thus keeping players on the server for a longer time

    Vouch

my god yes please, i need this. as long as we go way overboard and try to do some crazy shit like with the smp items plugin and the whole earth smp thing, i would love this. ALL I WANT IS VANILLA (plus minor things like factions so that way you could protect your area and set up a faction warp and stuff), if we do that it would also mean it would be ultra easy to update to future mc versions

I will vouch as long as executives wouldn't lose their executive role along with their admin role if they are inactive, I myself have been wildly inactive in comparison to my fellow admins when it comes to ingame time, however I put a lot of time into my executive duties and I don't think that should go against me, since the more time i spend on that, the less time I have to actually be on the server (a lot of the work I am currently doing revolves around things not on the actual MC server)

As someone who has had to read a number of old reaserch papers from time to time for school stuff, it's scary that there's a ton of papers which have equally scary predictions about the state of things as they are now, such as this one

The presence of a large reser- voir of SARS-CoV-like viruses in horseshoe bats, together with the culture of eating exotic mammals in southern China, is a time bomb. The possibility of the reemergence of SARS and other novel viruses from animals or laboratories and therefore the need for preparedness should not be ignored.

There's a bunch of others I could list but it's 11pm and this one was easy to find since its at the top of Google if you search for it but if you want to find more for yourself look at some ones about climate change, those guys are on point
