Ok yeah this is a bit of a controversial thing, but I actually vouch for this, whilst it is true that there are plenty of other minigame servers, I still think that this could be worthwhile. One major problem with the entire network right now is that we need to diversify our gameplay, it's great to have the freeop server and all that, but at least at the moment, that's basically all we have, as the skyblock server isn't even connected to the hub, so it would be hard for a new player to even access it. And I think that if we are to introduce a minigame server that might bring a lot more engagement with players, but either way we do it, as long as we do it in our own way, and give it its own identity other than just being another generic minigame server, I think this could work.

I've noticed that both of the candidates talk about how they want to make sure that the gameplay on the server Is engaging enough to be able to effectively market the server, so im just wondering if either of you have any specific ideas of how you are going to go about doing that?

Normally I hold these applications open for a week, but due to the clear consensus of the vote, your application is denied, and you will be allowed to apply again in 1 month.

I encourage you to work more on interiors and especially on lighting for your builds as it is hard to see a lot of them, if you need any tips for building I'm sure that you can ask some of the MBs to give you a hand and teach you what they know.

    Hub Changelog v1.1:

    • Improved Credits Area and Updated Info
    • Fixed some buggy stuff with the parkour
-- Also added stuff to allow for easy expansion of parkour in the future, but no changes to it have been made yet
    • Added a cool secret somewhere in the snow biome
    • redid roughly a quarter of the spawn area which was not aligned with the rest of the spawn area by 1 block
-- Big shoutouts to MeCathy for that
    • Updated Command Blocks which are responsible for getting rid of any items on the Armor Stands in the hub, as /replaceitem is no longer a thing
    • Fixed a ton of minor errors which you probably never noticed but we sure did
    • Smoothed some terrain
    • Optimized hub so that its less laggy
    • Removed leftover test stuff that was underneath the Hub

That's right!, I promised I'd be making some music for the 11th anniversary so here it is

and in classic fashion its late because of inconsistencies with how long and complicated the music distribution process is (yay), I've been working on this for the past 5 months so I do hope you enjoy.
Please note that the song order for the video was adjusted for your viewing pleasure and is not how it is in the actual EP

! Man it is just crazy to me how much one person can improve over just a single year, if you didn't know, exactly 1 year and 4 days ago I published my first official piece of music, the TotalFreedom 10th Anniversary Album, which can still be found on this forum. What's even crazier is that I had only gotten into doing all of that because at the time the ECD, Lykhant, was hosting an Art Comp for the 10th anniversary, and I decided I wanted to participate, but with me being me, who can't draw or anything like that, I asked if I could do something music related instead. And to this day I am so glad I made that decision, as its one of the few times I feel like TotalFreedom and its community really, truly, impacted me. Were in not for all of this I would have never discovered how much fun I have had making music and would have never learned as much as I have this past year. And for all those wondering why I even decided to become ECD myself, it was to help share this type of interaction with others, and while I may have overestimated the amount of time that I could spend doing ECD work, I still stand by this as being my main goal as ECD. TotalFreedom really means a lot to me, so I hope that all of you can find your own bit of happiness in this community as well.

Oh and also shout outs to @"Fleek"#188 for being an annoying prick who actively wanted the exporting for this video to take even longer than the like 30 something hours that it ended up taking total, love you man ❤️

elmon holy shit we have Spotify embedding, that's cool. Anyways my music tastes are certainly out there but my personal favorite artists at least is Steampianist (who mainly posts on newgrounds), Acid Notation (Also newgrounds), and then for slightly more normal stuff I also like to listen to Sullivan King (they do heavy metal stuff, it's good), and RIOT

Oh and of course my new album which releases tommorow is good too

videogamesm12 still the whole point of PyPy is to improve the speed of python, python by itself is a very slow language and doesn't typically scale all to well, and so PyPy is meant to solve that as it completely rewrites the way python scripts are run under the hood, I'll do some testing myself with my own copy of the plot world and see what the results are but I highly recommend that we give it a shot, PyPy scales much better and shouldn't require us to rewrite anything either
