Many people have asked me what does the title mean or how to get the list from Plan. I've decided to publish a simplified version of the instructions we keep on Teams, I'll add the link here after proof-reading and posting it on the forum. ;)

New month, new round! Some are back after a long time, others have speedrun their journey!

The players who get a special Discord title, extra coins, a cool place and the right to have a custom colour when they're in game are:

Critics say the term does not follow traditional grammar, is difficult to pronounce, and is disrespectful toward conventional Spanish;[5] the Royal Spanish Academy style guide does not recognize the suffix -x.[6] Both supporters and opponents have cited linguistic imperialism as a reason for supporting or opposing the use of the term.[5]"

And this is why you ask the affected people before making up solutions to problems they might not have.

I totally see the reasoning behind some of the examples but this is one of those that bothers me.

It could be because I speak a "cousin" language and I see the linguistic issues English speakers can't understand.

I personally align with Luke's position regarding discussion of adult-themed topics. As both the forum and the Minecraft servers are places with no age check, when I'm with players I don't know, my golden rule is, would I show or say it out loud in a playground?

I think that adult stuff should be removed if it emerges and sanctions should be considered if there was gross negligence or a clear intent to share it.

Now, for the legal headache (mind you, I'm not a lawyer and walls of text are tiring to read for me, you should feel free to correct me). It looks like that producing and sharing adult content violates both Mojang's and Microsoft's terms of service:

    CONTENT

    [...]

If you are going to make something available on or through our Game, it must not be offensive to people or illegal, it must be honest, and it must be your own creation. Some examples of the types of things you must not make available using our Game include: posts that include racist or homophobic language; posts that are bullying or trolling; posts that are offensive or that damage our or another person's reputation; posts that include porn or someone else's creation or image; or posts that impersonate a moderator or try to trick or exploit people

    3. Code of Conduct

    [...]

3.a.iv. Don’t publicly display or use the Services to share inappropriate content or material (involving, for example, nudity, bestiality, pornography, offensive language, graphic violence, or criminal activity).

This isn't taking any local law in consideration, and we know there's been being a crackdown on adult content in many places.

My conclusion is that allowing NSFW content to be freely hosted and shared is a legal liability that Atlas, its owner (Ryan) and his assistants (executives etc.) will likely consider too risky.

Making it an experience you'd ever want to do again is the challenge.

I promise you running Linux Mint with one of their recommended DEs ans downloading stuff from the Software Center is good enough for newbies. My parents have used it for years after Windows Vista broke down because of faulty motherboard and they didn't want to buy a new pc.

As it had been planned for a long time, I've officially disbanded the Event Host team and the Event Host Policy is no longer in effect.

    Now what?

Everyone can bring new events or activities to life! Please read the instructions in the new TotalFreedom Events Policy.

We're also currently restructuring the affected sections to make them consistent with the new directives and easier to be used.

I'm aware there are some event ideas left behind in the suggestions section and I've planned to re-visit all the ones that are already approved or have gained enough support from the community.

An event is an engaging, organised activity which takes place on the TotalFreedom’s platforms, including but not limited to the freedom server, the forum and Discord, according to the nature of the event itself.

Events can require participants to abide by special rules, as long as they are not conflicting with the TotalFreedom Community Guidelines and the platform-specific rules. Failure to follow them will lead to the exclusion and removal from the event's area and, if appropriate, additional sanctions from the platform's staff.

Who can plan or host events?

Anyone can contribute and support the Executive Community Manager (ECM) and their assistant (AECM) in coming up with new event ideas by posting concepts or detailed plans in the Suggestions > Events & Engagement section which will be subject to community approval before being approved and scheduled by the ECM or their assistant.

    What is an "official" event?

An official event is hosted under the determined schedule by the ECM or AECM and the execution is subject to their supervision. It is typically characterised by extensive planning, promotion, rewards, a specific location and a list of people in charge of it. The ECM keeps a documentation for official event ideas in which is described the ways of how they will work, what is required, who is needed and so on.

    What is an "unofficial" event?

Players are allowed to host so-called unofficial events, which are not under the supervision and responsibility of the ECM and their assistant. Those can take place anytime on the game server and other platforms as long as special rules or additional privileges are not required and they are not disrupting any planned official event.

The ECM and their assistant may decide to “endorse" any successful unofficial event idea which will then be properly documented for later use.

I see the holidays brought some more activity. Good, good... Let the insanity flow through you...

Here are the winners of the beginning of the year!
