I agree with Jwmphall completely, he made a valid point and that should not be overlooked.

I said it as my first reply, and I'll say it again for the threads sake:

Jwmphall, If you do not want those DM's to be considered, then do not consider them in your reasoning.

I have conducted myself with the utmost of respect for this community and its operators since 2014. I climbed to the rank of Senior Administrator. I am asking that your personal gripes with me to not factor into your vote as me as an administrator.

To everyone on this thread, let's keep this thread to an objection w/ reason or a vouch w/ reason. I do not want my reinstatement to cause admins to fight with one another. Please, for the sake of precedent, even if you vouched for me, I am asking for you to keep this direct to the point, and to leave the drama for an appropriate section.

After seven years of good behavior, I wanted to gain attention by being an anti-hero. I fabricated a story that implicated my assistant at the time (Darth), divided the community and put Seth in an awkward position. I was removed as a result.

I am returning to this community as I'd like to end my storybook here not in the dark, but in the light- how it started. I have seen multiple dynasties since Mark, worked among aforementioned anti-hero's and hero's alike, have seen this server with 40 players and full-kicks, and times where we've had 3 (all of which were staff). I'm not here to coddle you and use my pseudo-professionalism as an example of my changed behavior, I'm asking for a second chance to be done through a probationary period to prove people change. This community has made a substantial network of connections for me, and it's time to pay it forward.

What current activities have you performed to merit reinstatement?

@fssp#7693 Edit it, but either way, this: "Not only is it more readily accessible, however the board is cleaner, and categories are less pronounced. Discussions are less segregated, better fitting into the overall scale of this server. The old forum was too monolithic for a shrinking community, and I feel as if the stupor of nostalgia interferes with an understanding of how shitty the "user experience" on the old forum was." is disheartening.

@fssp#7693 In regards to what I meant by "thread replies", I was commenting on the current state of this forum's (see what I did there) thread/thread-reply UI- A UI that is remarkably underwhelming. Thus, when I referred to the current state of these forum's (oops I did it again lolkek) thread-replies being "under-satisfying", I was commenting on them from the perspective of a player in this community.

I've preached this before and now I will sing about it again, THE PERSPECTIVE OF AN OP CAN'T BE OVERLOOKED BY AN ADMIN, especially if TF hopes to have any glimmer of a player-base moving forward.

All that aside though, @fssp#7693 you said something very concerning.
You mentioned that the old forums were "too monolithic"... As if that's a bad thing?

What's kept TF alive all these years aren't your crafted replies that don't at all reflect the way you speak in real life; oh no, what has kept TF alive are its players that have some-way or another entwined themselves in the history that that "monolithic" forum had stood for.

Before you degrade the old forums for being rich with the lifeblood of this community (I mean seriously man, a "monolith of clutter", you fully offended everyone on here in three words, that's got to be a record or something) ask yourself how we can obtain flex-seal to patch the leaking lifeblood of this community- a leak caused by too much unnecessary change.

Hey all,

I'm not quite sure if the current administration's plan is to use Flarum as our indefinite forums. I'd like to take it for face value that they are and thus, want to suggest two themes used in con junction with one another to bring some much needed familiarity and life back into the TF forums. The way the current layout is designed, TF just feels empty and dead. Thread replies feel under-satisfying, there's no shout box or instant messaging. User engagement clearly feels under-prioritized, and with no active post and like count displayed under the users profile in-post interactions aren't encouraged. I've had extensive experience with Flarum and the good news is that with a little bit of love, these forums can truly be a new, refreshing chapter in TF's history.

All said and done, I'd like to propose to the Executive Leadership to add the following Flarum Extensions in conjunction with one another to resuscitate the user experience on these forums:

I've checked and hand-selected all these themes to be Flarum 0.1.0 compatible.

As an Operator, Ex-Senior Administrator and Executive, I've dedicated the better half of a decade towards understanding this community and the faces that have come and gone, adding their individual contributions (or scars) to our lengthy history. To be completely transparent, finding individuals that exhibit as much perseverance for involvement and enthusiasm for Total Freedom as AshazTGA, is stunning, albeit Rare. If it's his fitness for administrator you question, hear this; this individual has been consistently faced with staunch adversity and hasn't hesitated for as much as a second as to stand-up for his ideas. He takes initiative and outworks most administrators when it comes to using the provided resources to make Total Freedom a safer and more fun place, for all.

So Ashaz has my full Vouch and if I was still added to the ol' config I'd Recommend you too. While I agree with Wild that a candidate's past behavior shouldn't be the nail in their coffin when deciding the readiness of a potential administrator, it is evidenced by Ashaz's circumstance that focusing on both the past and the present is necessary in order to judge the readiness of a candidates potential promotion within our currently under-precedented community.
