    i've taken a gander, as far as i know we dont have any form of plugins that would log player hits in this way on the event server. yeah lack of an anticheat is really cool so i have no way to prove the framing thing from what i know. i have asked folfy if they had any clips or replays like i did request in the announcement but alas he didn't have anything.


    needless to say though. today was terrible. im completely fine with banter and shit like this but people have been taking this shit too seriously as of late and especially with such a report its hard to write this off as that. im imposing a ban on my end for NotPetya from atleast the next miniSMP event as im simply not up for this kind of shit tarnishing my events that i myself, kinda pioneered out of fucking nowhere. it should be clear that i've not thought through the banning system quite well so i am not sure if its going to be a per event basis or overall event basis and im fairly sure appealing could be a thing or it could just be timed. im really undecided


    really it should be common sense not to be a dickhead. i should not have to fucking state this shit in the rules but apparently i do. im gonna take a harder look and give that specific event a break too since overall the past two events have been total whine fests and its fucking getting to me

    i've noticed anyone and their fucking dog can be an event host and i feel as the role gets more used it will be a highlight of some thread. im not enforcing it by any means but i would advise those that have already voted to state their reason why so i can make an informed decision whether or not people believe they have the characteristics to suit the role

    alright, im denying this suggestion. random items in minismp kills the normal progression i had in mind and takes value of a lot of things and overall kinda kills the entire experience for me


    we tried it on this event: https://forum.totalfreedom.me/…ay-31st-august-at-1pm-bst and overall i dont think it worked out from my perspective and a lot of people seem to be in agreement.


    the actual suggestion is also defo a no. waiting games are not in any means enjoyable. erins ran the math and its like total dog

    i agree, its been a problem for me mentally after the past two events and has put me off hosting it for a good minute. unfortunately i dont have a fix without banning people

    ill see if i can look into this proposition. currently its a duo between myself and shyrix when she's on. but some event hosts play and ideally i dont want event hosts having op or anything outside of moderation actions if they're actively participating as a normal player. unfortunately having permission nodes aint an option at the moment

    Snow comprises individual ice crystals that grow while suspended in the atmosphere—usually within clouds—and then fall, accumulating on the ground where they undergo further changes. It consists of frozen crystalline water throughout its life cycle, starting when, under suitable conditions, the ice crystals form in the atmosphere, increase to millimeter size, precipitate and accumulate on surfaces, then metamorphose in place, and ultimately melt, slide or sublimate away.

    The game is simple, its a temporary SMP confined in a small border area of which can dynamically adjust to the narrative. and myself (and maybe shyrix i guess) cause shit again depending on the narrative on what happens. its odd and probably a bit convoluted but i meddle with shit ig without ruining shit

    Rules:

    • Hacks are prohibited as this is more of a grounded experience. people who are not playing god are not supposed to have fly hacks or xray or kill aura (i do encourage participants to have either instant replay or replay mod installed and running as banning on accusation will not be an option. im going to be asking around for an anticheat that isn't absolute dog)
    • Slurs and Swastika shit is banned. thats pretty standard here
    • Crashing people and deeds to ruining the experience for everyone is not allowed
    • Spawn killing Innocents repeatedly is not allowed
    • Begging will result in a mute (this shouldn't even be a rule but unfortunately its proving to be too much and deters people from playing the fucking game when they could just ask me to give them a living)

    Event will take place in /events-01 on Tuesday 31st August @ 1PM BST and will likely last till 10-12 PM
