i will be taking a break from trying to main linux for a good minute. admittedly i haven't been lucky with this, shits stressing me out now and and things are gonna heat up more. will revisit this though since on occasion it was fun to figure out and learn to an extent i cant fully grasp it at the moment

i've been maining pop os for a few days now and having a few highs and a lot of lows. good thing is i managed to get photoshop to run. i've tried it with the banner for https://forum.totalfreedom.me/…25th-september-at-1pm-bst and my minecraft crashed whilst i was running this. also another thing despite having wine-gecko setup, CEPHtmlEngine was screaming at me till the libraries tab got closed. was so fucking annoying. another thing is i have no fucking clue on how to properly pin this as whenever i try to put a terminal command in a shortcut theres no dice and its fucking doing my head in

The game is simple, its a temporary SMP confined in a small border area of which can dynamically adjust to the narrative. and myself (and maybe shyrix i guess) cause shit again depending on the narrative on what happens. its odd and probably a bit convoluted but i meddle with shit ig without ruining shit
Rules:
- Hacks are prohibited as this is more of a grounded experience. people who are not playing god are not supposed to have fly hacks or xray or kill aura (i do encourage participants to have either instant replay or replay mod installed and running as banning on accusation will not be an option. im going to be asking around for an anticheat that isn't absolute dog)
- Slurs and Swastika shit is banned.
- Being a cunt in chat, like in a salty genuine way. it takes the fun out of things and you will be banned (this also includes bringing arguments from outside into the server, im trying to keep the vibe good)
- Crashing people and deeds to ruining the experience for everyone is not allowed
- Spawn killing innocent people or spawn rushing (the act of repeatedly running at a base after respawning) is not allowed
- Begging will usually result in a mute
Event will take place in /events-01 on Saturday 25th September @ 1PM BST and will likely last till 10-12 PM

↩ FromTimeToTime as for the desktop environment, i always come back to kde, but it's worth it to try the others. many of the graphical bugs you will experience are caused by qt (upstream of kde). it's a lot better after you customize it. take unixporn and similar sources for inspiration.
i might try like MATE this time around or something. i cant bring myself back to KDE after kubuntu.

↩ DragonSlayer2189 nah i think he's more on about where to draw the line in regards to what woulr be a definition here. to me the line crosses when people end up having erotic roleplays in chat. and with the recent ban the line has more or less moved to more graphic and descriptive messages
im wondering me telling someone to "eat a dick" would constitute as this. what im trying to say is i dont want to be banning people for simply saying "dick and balls" or having a mature conversation about genitalia or sex or even some dumb fuck banter as i feel that line is too close and overall could have a drastic effect on the more mature and dedicated audience here
that being said i also dont want literal minors engaging in that sort of roleplay which has happened in public chat a year ago and i found that extremely uncomfortable. obviously this is related to the forums (as i've just realised) and i'd say the line here would be descriptive writing or any sort of erotic roleplay or fanfic writing ahem as i know it wouldn't be comfortable to watch and i at the time did want grounds to moderate that but didn't exist
tl;dr he meant where the line would be drawn (presumably) and i think we should draw a fair line between no descriptive sexual rp and casual sex jokes. i think i waffled a bit too much but i hope the general idea comes across
