    This is so sad x2


    My longest ever install on my laptop, Normal enterprise 1803. been this install for ALMOST two years yet half of those gone to waste since this laptop was on its dying legs as per my GPU failing so i got my new rig (the other PC i reinstalled a few days ago) and barely touched this one since. revitalising it though.


    Relying on my iGPU this will just run Windows 7 Ultimate as per @videogamesm12's and @TylerTT's Recommendations. just be my little offhand computer hosting my archive i had since 2017. my gut feelings tell me this install is not going to go well but heres hoping.


    anything fucks up ill just put 8.1 on here. came with that anyway. this is starting to not be a S&D post tf

  • SMP Spawn Build - Community Project Event

    TotalFreedom SMP Spawn - Community Project Event

    In recent events as you've probably heard, the SMP Team are resetting their own server to an Anarchy server. and as per reset they request a new spawn.


    in collaberation with zeseryu, we've planned an event to allow you, the community to shape this new spawn. Of which will take place at: 30th January on a Saturday @ 00:00 GMT and the region will close at the same time on the 31st Allowing a full 24 Hours for people to build. think of it like r/place where everyone could contribute to an area in their own fashion.


    if the event starts late for any reason the window will subject to change making sure little time is lost and will be noted here, Discord and ingame.


    Event will be taking place in Freedom 1 at: /warp SMPBuild
    The building area currently has a region over it disallowing buildings and entry

    Rules:

    As since this is a building event we have a handful of rules in place.

    • No Griefing
    • No Pornographic Builds
    • No Hate Symbols
    • No Builds Purely to troll (eg, Obsuring paths, blockspam of any kind, Etc)
    • You may expand outside of the marked regions if you wish. if needed the spawn for the warp can be moved too.

    Failure to comply will result in offending content being rolled back and likely punishment as per Conduct Policy

    the way core protect actually logs flowing water/lava is actually fucky since when water flows instead of logging it all to the dude who made the source block (ideally that could be complicated to do itself if two peoples source blocks come together, but thats my educated guess.) it just logs it belonging to "#water" and "#lava" respectively and if there was such thing as a lavacast, it would be such a bitch to restore it since the initial banning of the dude would be difficult since you'd have to locate the source block, which isn't too bad compared to the rolling back of the damage, before writing this i overlooked the fact that if the source blocks rolled back the damage would eventually go but then you'd have to manually restore the cobblestone. personally i wouldn't have the attention span nor patience to roll back that cobblestone remains from the lavacast since the current state of coreprotect is terrible (yesterday i rolled back a part of a build that was griefed back to where it was 3 minutes ago and i took like 10 to complete, so i do admit i got shit in my mouth from yesterday), not to mention the amount of logs flowing water creates would only fill the database even further (educated guess again)


    then again, i do see how this is advantageous to user freedom and building. alligns to the more traditional vanilla experience and not the silicone anti-grief creative server with more features then a digitally locked door. but im interested to see if theres any way to mitigate the reprocussions this could cause that im not seeing right now.
